"Now, you know I don't want to hurt you, but I wont go easy on you either."
The blonde brawler got into position, watching Blake fail to do the same."You're right-handed, so lead with your left foot, alright?"
She nodded and proceeded to get into the right stance, switching to lead with her left foot.
"Wait, how did you know I was right-handed? I could be ambidextrous."
"Because you always unsheathed your sword with your right hand only. I pay attention."
Yang took a wristband off of her arm and tied her hair into a ponytail. "Enough stalling, cmon and hit me, Blakey!"
Blake hesitated for a moment, then rushed forward and swung her fist.
Yang quickly weaved around it and caught her arm.
As Blake struggled out of her grip, Yang smirked at her. "You realize you just telegraphed your whole attack." She released her arm.
"For someone whose basically a ninja, that wasn't very stealthy. Lemme show you how it's done." Yang teased.
They both took a few steps back.
Yang lunged forward and extended her arm towards her. Blake immediately side-stepped in an attempt to dodge.
Yang quickly used her leg to catch Blake's ankle and giggled. "See, you fell for that fake punc-"She was immediately cut off by Blake grabbing onto her leg before she hit the ground.
Yang fell directly on top of her.
She put both hands on both sides of Blake's head to position herself.
"I guess you're a little faster than I thought.""That's what you get for tricking me."
Yang was about to make a sassy comment, but found herself entranced by those golden eyes again.
She could stare at them all day....if it wasn't really creepy. Her raven-colored hair was sprawled out due to the fall, yet she still looked beautiful. Mesmerizing.
Then her eyes went down to her lips and Yang subconsciously licked her own.
All of a sudden, there were a whole lot of other things she wanted to do right now, and training was not one of them.
As bad as she wanted her, she felt like Blake wouldn't be ready to do anything beyond friendship. She had to endure what Adam put her through, and now since Yang knows about Sun, she was sure that the last thing she wanted was another relationship...right?
She didn't know what to do, but I guess the only thing to do is test the waters and see what happens.
"I like your kitty ears. It goes great with your....face?"
"That was much worse than what you said at Beacon."
"You know you liked it."
A small smile crept on Blake's face.
"If someone told me 2 years ago that we'd even be friends someday. I'd laugh in their face.""Is that what we are? Friends?"
Blake thought about that for a moment.
"Well...-""Cuz to me it seems like you wanna be friends with benefits considering you haven't asked me to get off of you yet."
Yang saw her cheeks redden and winked. She loved teasing her.
Yang was just playing around though. She didnt want to be "Friends with benefits". Because that would mean they would both still be single, and Yang wanted no one else except her. She also didn't want to imagine Blake being with anybody else....again.
