"The Bird & The Bees" Pt 1

"If you dont wake up I'll throw this Bumblebee into a lake myself."

Blake took a look at the blonde girl, seemingly peaceful, safe in bed.
It was anything but peaceful though. Every day she didn't wake only made her worry more.

A knocking sound made her jump.
Sun, Weiss and Ruby stood in the doorframe still as concerned as ever.

"Sorry! The door was open." Ruby quickly apologized seeing Blake's reaction.

Weiss noticed it too.
"You've been really jumpy lately, Blake."

Sun looked at Weiss. He told her everything, everything except anything that had to do with Adam.
Her and Ruby had no idea and Blake wanted to keep it that way.

Of course, when not given the full details of the Grimm they faced, Ruby had her suspicions on why her big sister was still in this state if it was just a normal Grimm.

Sun then looked at Blake. She was sitting beside her partner, holding her hand, as she was when he checked in on her before.

Weiss sighed.
"I really think she should be seen by a medical professional."

Blake looked down at Yang's face again.
"I know...but-"

"-but you guys cant." Sun interrupted.

"You'll get arrested. Like I said before..." He turned to Ruby.
"Your team didn't graduate, dude. You aren't legally supposed to be fighting Grimm without an official huntsman with you."

The silver-eyed girl frowned. "But-but your team graduated! Couldn't you vouch for us?"

"You're forgetting the 5 year rule. You aren't official until you've graduated and been a huntsman for 5 years."

"I think my sister told me about something like that before." Weiss added.
Blake and Ruby shared a look of defeat.

"I know, sorry. It's some dumb law, but Im not gonna let you guys stroll in there, have some doctor get suspicious, and have you get arrested. You can't even afford the fine."

"It isn't necessarily a dumb law. It's for hyper eccentric children with dangerous weapons, so they won't you know...rob a store or commit genocide? Not every student in a huntsman academy are good samaritans. Unfortunately, it means we can't get any insight on Yang." Weiss put a hand to her forehead, visibly stressed.

It was a law all four kingdoms agreed on after some time. A very strict law. Some towns and cities won't even allow you to have your weapon out. The remaining White Fang members and Salem's minions have recruited people before. They have been quiet lately but the law still stands.

Blake shook her head. "You know what? I don't care about that anymore. Let them arrest me! She still hasn't woken up yet and none of us know what to do."

"Even if I let you do that, Blake, they'll check Yang out, make sure she's okay, and throw her right in a cell with you."

"Then what AM I supposed to do, Sun?"

Ruby took her scroll out of her pocket. "I've been talking to Uncle Qrow...he's didn't tell my dad. He'd worry."

"And what?"

"And...he might know something and that's the closest thing we got since Ozpin is still M.I.A."

Blake's eyes lit up.
"What did he say?"

"Nothing yet. He said he'll call back."

A pop song began playing from her scroll and Ruby hastily answered the call.
She walked out of the room, with Weiss in toe, in hopes to gather some more information.
