Neptune halted his annoying whistling for a moment and elbowed Blake.

"Sooo, since you and Yang are a thing ya think Ilia would give me a chance?" He lowered his voice, asking confidently. Pretty confident, actually; For someone so naivé.

"Did you...not get the picture last time?"

"Oh, she's just playing hard to get."

"I guarantee you that's not what's happening."

"Always so negative..."

Yang lazily turned her head to face the blue-haired boy.

"Buddy, stop harassing my girlfriend. All we're doing is dropping her off safely after she helps us...Ilia does not want you, Blakes right."

"Yeah yeah yeah."

Blake put a hand out in front of Yang, stopping her and the rest of the group. "Focus."

Lilac eyes followed her hand has she pointed the overcast of a village over yonder.

Their eyes met for a moment before Yang nodded, giving Blake the go to leap into action.

Neptune watched her impressively jump into the tree line as she held on to Gambol Shroud (Jr)'s hilt.
"Wow, definitely a ninja."

Ilia nodded in agreement.
"Adam may have been an asshole, but you can't deny that he was good at training killers."

He was good at training killers, but Ilia and Blake use that knowledge for good. Others didn't.

Yang shuttered at the thought. Luckily, Blake had wonderful parents who taught her right from wrong. She had good moral values and wasn't easily swayed to agree with Adam's anti-human teachings and become something like him, just...evil.

She'd shoot herself in the foot before she'd ever force Blake to be something she's not.

She knew that, and that's why she watched as Blake did her job like the badass ninja she is.

"So what's she going to do, though?" Neptune asked still looking the direction Blake leapt into.

"She's scouting. The village up ahead looks like a ghost town. We're making sure it doesn't only look that way."

He nodded as her eyes examined the tree line. "She's usually faster than that....Ilia can you-"

"Got it."

Ilia camouflaged herself before hopping tree-to-tree towards the village.

She reached the end of the tree line, watching Blake silently stare down at a pair of bandits talking as they patrolled the dirt road.

Considering both Ilia and Blake have been trained in stealth, it wasn't surprising that Blake didn't need to be invisible to go unnoticed.

Ilia quickly whipped out her scroll, warning Yang, before watching Blake silently descend down the tree.

She crept up behind one, knocking him clean out with the end of her sword then quickly aiming her gun at the other.

"Get down."

The man got down on his knees, with his hands still reaching for the skies.

Ilia stood still as Blake aimed the gun at his head. She wondered if she'd actually shoot him.

"Why are you here?"

His chest rapidly rose and fell with each shaky breath. "P-please don't kill me. Please, you can have whatever we took."
