Jene watched carefully as he slowly walked up to the fatigued guy slumped awkwardly against the wall. Al's damp hair appeared coppery red as it plastered across his clammy pale forehead. His eyelids almost seemed translucent as Jene watched the squirming guy morosely. Lucifer was killing him. Ending his human life. Dragging his drifting soul back to his hellish belongings.

Despite the fact that Al was his enemy, Jene was a soldier. A divine warrior. Compassion had always been and will always be one of his main traits. He crept swifly over and knelt by the fading Al. Inhaling deeply he felt the giveaway tingling on his forehead, his 6th dimension sense opening. Al's energy was fading. His ties to Earth were fading. The angeling watched helplessly as he tried to send calming energy to the turbulent spirit. Darkness enveloped him as Al stared upwards and met Jene's concerned yet cool gaze. He knew what was happening.

"See you in the war angeling."

Al's voice rasped out, his eyes dark and drifting as he tightly shut them. Jene sighed softly and pressed his slightly trembling hand to the ice-cold forehead of the dying human. Quickly exhaling he pulled the energy tendrils from deep within him and drifted it into Al, the tendrils working as a basic supernatural drug that pushed Al's soul to hell immediately. Ending the suffering of slow death, soul removal was always painful.

He lifted his slightly shaking hand and let it fall to his side as he looked sadly at the human body lying on the grimy floor. Dead. No soul at all. Sighing he stood up just as he sensed Michael walking into the room.

" What the heck man?"

The unknowing archangel rushed to Al's side to only trip on his newfound wings and went sprawling face down on the dusty floor. If he wasn't in such a somber mood Jene knew he would be laughing. A being usually so full of raw power and grace had just tripped on his own body, luckily he wasn't hurt.

" Look I'll deal with these new addition later..."
Michael trailed off as he attempted to brush specks of dirt and the like off his startling new appendages. He shook himself out if his stupor and addressed Jene once again.

" We have got to get Al to a doctor or something. Help! Cuz...man hurry up! Let's move."

Michael stared at him in shock as a Jene shook his head slightly.

"Why the hell aren't you doing something Jene you saw what happened! What happened?"

Michael clumsily got to his less than stable feet and stormed over to the wary Jene.
Jene stumbled back as he felt the anger richocheting off the archangel in sporadic waves as Michael gripped the warrior angel painfully and slammed him backwards into the grey wall behind him. Dusty plaster dropped from the roof in a tiny shower as the house groaned.

" Unhand me, you are not of right mind Michael."

Jene rushed out angrily as Michael pushed him against the wall once again.

" No you listen to me cuz. Ever since you've arrived everything's gone upside down here. Al's dead. I'm growing frigging wings and to make things even more convenient I cannot remember long periods of time. What's happening!? I know you have something to do with it."

Jene blocked Michaels approaching fist quickly,

" What are you doing..aah?!"

Michael landed a painful jab in Jene's side, silencing him as the air rushed out of his lungs. Thankfully, his angelic instincts kicked in as the two angels began their battle. A battle that would scare even the most hardened mortal fighters, the two fought faster than the naked eye as Jene finally succumbed to exhaustion after what felt like an hours long fight. Even in his half mortal form the true power and strength of an archangel wasn't contained very well.

As soon as Jene collapsed to the warped floorboards something must have awoken in Michael, a sense of recognition because the blonde angel stopped fighting and instead bit his lip as confusion flickered across his face.

" What am I doing?"

He leaned backwards against the bashed up wall, moving as far away from the groaning Jene as possible in the small space.

" Wha...?"

He slumped forward as realisation seemed to kick in, reaching out he attempted to hold Jene's shaking palms yet he was met with a hostile reaction as Jene flinched away.

" AAH!"

The tense silence was broken by Michael's deep groan as he pressed his clenched fists to his slightly perspiring forehead. Wincing Jene slowly sat up, inhaling deeply as he reached towards the morose Michael.

"Mike..."

Jene's soft voice drifted off into silence. Despite his human body Michael still fought like an archangel, his half human state was even stronger than Jene, a trained divine warrior angel. The warrior angel in question could already tell that he would need a lot of mediation to recover from the fight.

" Don't Jene. I cannot believe what's happening to me and the fact that I fought you. I know I've been unnaturally strong lately its just...I saw you and I was like...I thought...Nevermind."

" No p,Michael what did you think."

Jene croaked out as he mentally urged his body to recover.

" It's stupid cuz. Don't even worry."

" Mike."

" Fine!Fine ! This all just seems so weird to me and something is niggling at me, like I've never been this protective until recently. I feel awful having fought you but my conscience said I needed to. Yet I know you didn't hurt him. I know you didn't hurt Al, but something within me said I needed to defend him and protect him against the force that hurt him.
What is secretly going on? Clearly I don't know and can't be trusted. My gut instinct is all skewed and I feel nauseous and...I just I don't know. Nothing makes sense, I cannot handle anything...What are you doing?"

The archangel trailed off as Jene shakily stood and held onto the damaged wall as he reached a trembling arm towards Michael.

"This is for beating me up."

Breathing deeply through his screaming body he set his palm on Michael's forehead and  blasted his divine power into Michael's third eye. It was time for the archangel to fully awaken...before he hurt himself or anyone else.
