The scene that met Ami as she entered the living room the next morning had her plopping down onto one of the awaiting armchairs in aghast. How was this possible?
Apparently dealing with two Archangels and their protectors weren't enough because the young woman Jade had seemed suspicious of yesterday now sat next to Raziel on the couch, animately gesturing something to the room as she chuckled. It wasn't this though that surprised Ami. It was the fact that Gabi's aura was as bright as Raziel's and seemed just as potent.
The angels all turned their attention towards Ami as if they could hear the myriad of internal questions that threatened to spill out if someone didn't speak in the next minute.
" Our mission is going much better than anticipated, in fact it's moving much faster than anticipated. Especially now that we have Gabriel here with some quite interesting messages."
Michael explained cautiously as he kept a wary eye on Ami.
" Why don't I get you some coffee or some food?"
Michael asked slowly as he side glanced at Raziel, it was only then that Ami realised the whole room was staring at her and that she hadn't said anything for several moments.
The young woman who Ami had only just met yesterday stood up gracefully from the lounge and turned towards Ami. The woman appeared normal in her faded jeans and saffron t-shirt yet unlike yesterday there was now a sort of glow around her, a luminance that seemed to come right from the core of her very being.
" Ami, please know that this is really weird for me too and I am not quite sure how to approach the topic. However, my specialty is communication so if anyone can explain this situation it is I."
The young woman ran her slightly shaking fingers through her auburn hair as she seemed to ponder on what to do next.
" You all were right to investigate the origins and nature of my energy. As you can see, I am an Archangel...I am Gabriel the Archangel of Communication-the divine messenger. This is probably the main reason why I am not panicking at the moment, I have a constantly open communication stream to all channels of the universe, including the divine realm.
Although, they are relatively quiet at the moment...considering the purpose of the Archangel's mission is to determine how to save humanity by experiencing a mortal life this makes sense. After all, we are not known to interfere unless our presence and help are requested."
Gabriel paused and looked thoughtfully out at the cityscape. The soft daylight trickled over her striking features, highlighting the woman's divine nature. While she may have a human-like body, the pristine nature of the divine realm couldn't be disguised...even in a mortal shell.
" I will admit, the human ego makes it difficult to interpret this situation but it is providing a helpful measure in learning about this mission."
At this moment Jade and Jene both entered the room carrying cups of coffee, tea and a various array of muffins, fruit, and toast...interuppting Gabriel who seemed deep in thought.
" So...so we have miraculously stumbled upon another Archangel....how? How are these Angels...Why do all these angels seem to be inhabiting the Australian continent?"
Ami questioned as she looked in confusion at first Michael and then Raziel, he must have an answer considering he was the Archangel of Divine Knowledge.
" It is an interesting point you raise Ami, especially because there are 15 Archangels who were chosen for this mission...the 15 major archangels. For three of us to have reincarnated here that leaves the potential for the rest of our siblings to have reincarnated here to be very low."
Raziel looked thoughtfully at Gabriel before returning his gaze to Ami.
" Although some of the carnations are quite...surprising."
Jade sniggered at this while Michael even cocked a little smile. Gabriel rolled her eyes at this and helped herself to some watermelon and coffee.
" Yes, yes it's very amusing. So amusing that your brother reincarnated as a female. Remember in divine form we are not really one gender over another...we juts happen to have a dominant gender."
Ami nodded in agreement at this as she reached for her own java.
" In all my readings Gabriel has been portrayed as a feminine male. Male but with more feminine tendencies...he, I mean she had a certain softness."
Ami looked cautiously at Gabriel in this instance, worried that she might have offended her but surprisingly the other Archangel just smiled in return.
" It's okay Ami, I know...and I understand. It is certainly not a curse to be in touch with both my masculine and feminine energy-after all, it is one of the traits that allows me to excel in my communication/messenger role.
Which leads me to my next point. What's been happening? I mean, obviously, in regards to our mission our angelic natures are obviously awakening so it is time for us to actively work on our mission...or at least be conscious of it."
Gabriel turned to address her brothers.
" Can one of you give me an update on... anything?"
She pondered as she smiled sweetly at Ami and situated herself next to her on the sofa.
" This should be good."
She whispered quietly.
" The ultimate leader and the ultimate know it all. Watch them argue over who should answer."
Gabriel jested as she set her eyes on her siblings once more.
