-Present Time-Hongjoong slammed the newspaper down on the table, making Yunho and Mingi jump in surprise.
"Hyung what's wrong?" Yunho asks.
"There's another group gone missing. This is the third disappearance and the cops aren't doing anything." The older grumbles.
The two tallest members looked at each other, shocked and perplexed at the sudden news. Third time? Who was the cause of all of these issues? It made the two worry, what if they were next? Those thoughts quickly diminished as another voice had cut through.
"I can't believe out of all people, NCT would be the next victims." Seonghwa sighed, grabbing a cup of coffee before standing next to the clock. "It's probably a scheme their company made in order to get more money out of them, poor boys." The oldest continued.
"Out of all people, I would never expected you to become this judgemental!" Jongho shouted as he emerges from his room, A distressed San trailing behind him.
"It's just my opinion!" Seonghwa shouted back. "Just because you like the group, doesn't mean you have to make them or their company look innocent! Or even push your beliefs into me!" The oldest scolds.
"Why do I hear yelling?" Yeosang emerges from his room, along with a clingy Wooyoung.
"Jongho's 'Gods' have gone missing. And he's freaking out of how 'judgemental' I'm being about their company." The oldest rolled his eyes, making quotation marks with his hands.
"Yelling at Jongho won't make things better Seonghwa." Hongjoong responded.
"Yelling at me because everything stressed you out didn't make things better for our relationship, did it?!" Seonghwa snapped before storming up to his room and slamming the door.
"What's his deal?" Jongho asked.
"Guess I forgot to tell you guys that Seonghwa and I broke up." Hongjoong announces.
The others were in shock. The two that had acted like the mom and dad throughout their years of friendship, the two that had dinner dates and movie nights while munching on fattening foods, the two that had promised to stay and grow old together and still be in love, had broken up?
"I rather not talk about it, so no more questions." Hongjoong sighed, putting his face in his hands.
The leader suddenly goes up to his room, closing the door loudly. The six other members sighed. They still could not comprehend the current news on the supposedly fated couple.
"Maybe we should just leave it alone. They'll figure it out themselves." Yunho suggests, in which the others agreed to do so. The remaining six had decided to just hang out and talk, avoiding the topic of The Honghwa couple.
———————————-
Seonghwa had tears in his eyes as he scanned through the photo album he had hid at the very back of the closet. He felt so much pain in his heart as he saw the pictures of him and Hongjoong.
There were some photos of the couple travelling to different places around the world, a few are from where they had their dates, and some of the selcas they had taken during their free time. But however, there was one picture had had caught his eye.
There was a photo of the two boys in bed with white sheets draped over their bare bodies, only having their chests exposed. Their bodies close to each other with Hongjoong having his arms around the older man's waist while Seonghwa had his around the leader's neck. Their lips were connected into a passionate kiss, which made another tear drip from his eye.
"Oh Hongjoong, I still love you." He whispered, curling up into a ball and sobbing softly.
