The next morning, the group met at the KQ entertainment centre to fill their dance practice for 'Say My Name'. Mingi was mesmerized of Yunho's dance moves, which the slightly older male smiled at his best friend's reaction. Wooyoung and Yeosang were laughing about a past memory, San and Jongho we're practicing their vocals, while Seonghwa sat in the corner on his phone.

Hongjoong bursts through the door of the practice room. "Alright! Manager wants us to get started!"

"Yes sir asshole." Seonghwa mutters.

"I'm sorry, did you say something?" The leader spoke a little loudly, causing the rest to turn and look at their oldest hyung.

"I said Yes sir!" The oldest spoke through gritted teeth, causing the other to scowl.

"Let's do it!" Wooyoung cheers, signalling the film crew to start the recording and the music.

The video shoot surprisingly went smoother than expected, everyone seemed to be having a fun time. The 99 liners were teasing Jongho about a girl he had only talked to for the past few months.

"JONGHO AND JISEON SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-I-N- OW!" Yunho teases, only to end getting an apple thrown at his head.

"Guys! That's disgusting!" The maknae snapped, making his hyungs stare at the vocalist in disbelief.

"Why? There's nothing wrong with liking girls."  Wooyoung said.

"It's not that! She's my cousin!" Jongho almost screams.

"Oops." Mingi whispered. "Sorry Jongie!"

"It's alright, you guys didn't know. It's just kids made fun of me for the same thing." The Maknae brushes it off, not noticing that San had let out a breath of relief.

"Alright guys! Practice is now over! We can go home!" Hongjoong announces, smiling lightly.

No one had noticed Seonghwa and Yeosang were out the door, rushing towards the bathroom. Well, it was more of Yeosang running after his distressed Hyung.

"Hyung. I know he hurt you, but you can't keep this up." Yeosang shouted after the visual, who glared at him in return.

"You don't understand Yeosang! We were the perfect couple! His snappy attitude was the reason why we broke up, and he blamed it on my 'clinginess'!" Seonghwa yelled. "Well I'm sorry that I was only worrying about my own boyfriend!" He punched the mirror, the glass shattered and stabbed his fingers. He collapsed onto the floor, sitting with his head in his hands.

"I know what he did was wrong! Acting the same way as he did is NOT going to make things better!" Yeosang shouted back while grabbing the older male's now bloody hand, making the other look at him in shock. Yeosang was not the person that shouts at anyone.

"Listen, I know how it feels to have that pain. But don't stoop down to the lowest level." The dancer replied, in a calm tone of voice. "I had been in the same situation as you, so I know how you feel. I just don't want any of you to regret your actions later on." Yeosang's voice cracks.

Seonghwa was suddenly hit with pure guilt. He had remembers after the day Hongjoong and him called off the relationship, Hongjoong was still been the sweet and caring leader. Seonghwa recalls the time he was sick, Hongjoong stayed with him, making sure he was okay. He remembers when he passed out in one of their concerts, Hongjoong carried him all the way to the nearest hospital. When Seonghwa and Jongho would have their arguments, Hongjoong was always the one person that can calm him down.

"Oh my god. I can't believe I was so mean to him." Seonghwa began to cry. "I need to fix this. I need to talk to him!" The oldest sprang up, dragging Yeosang with him back to the studio.

'I know you may never forgive me Hongjoong, but this is the least I can do.' Seonghwa thought as he kept running to catch up with the others.

—————

That same night, Seonghwa tiptoed into the sound booth, where he saw the younger working on a song. He suddenly felt relaxed, but then felt the rush of anxiety once he stepped forward.

"Hey Seonghwa." The rapper spoke.

"How did you know it was me?" Seonghwa replies.

"You always came at this hour." The other boy replied, eyes glued to the bright screen.

"Used to." Seonghwa sighed. "Look Hongjoong. I'm sorry that I've been a complete jerk towards you ever since we ended things." The older began speaking, which then Hongjoong took his eyes off the computer.

" I was angry at you for ending our relationship. Hell, I still love you! You were the one who made me happy when no one else could! Even if you snapped at me or pushed me away, I always found myself rushing back!" Seonghwa confesses, making the rapper widen his eyes in shock.

"Seonghwa."

"It's okay Joong, I'll leave you to do your work." Seonghwa squeaked out before going to leave, only for the older to be embraced in a hug.

Seonghwa felt his heart beating loudly. How could Hongjoong forgive him that easily? After all that he's done?

"Seonghwa. It was my fault. I was the reason why our relationship ended. I treated you awfully when you were the only one who stayed up until 5am just to wait for me to return home, the one who always made me smile when I was frustrated, the one I think about when I'm with family or friends." Hongjoong pauses.

"I still love you too. I never stopped actually. But I don't think we shouldn't get back together just yet, I think we should take things slow." Hongjoong adds with a sad smile.

Seonghwa sighed and replied, "So, friends?"

Hongjoong smiles back, "Best friends."

'I want to go back to where I could hold you in my arms and call you mine.' Hongjoong thought to himself as he stared at the beauty in front of him.
