Hemmings' House

Amelia's POV

I was running a bit late out the door to Luke's house, but I got there sure enough. I grabbed the keys to my motorcycle and ran out of the house. I hopped on my bike and drove off to the Hemmings' house. When I got there, I heard the tuning of instruments coming from the garage and knocked on the garage door. A few seconds later, it went up and I saw the guys all standing there with Luke at the garage button. "Glad you could make it," he said.

I then smiled and made my way to my chair. I sat on my wooden box and patted it to make a few noises. "Nice shirt," Michael complimented. I looked down and saw that I was wearing my Nirvana shirt with the band symbol on it.

"Thanks," I replied with a smile. I normally wore t shirts, it was my thing. Except today, I decided that I would wear my red flannel over my shirt with my black jeans. Changing it up.

"What're we gonna play first?" I asked.

"How about Voodoo Doll?" Calum suggested tuning his bass guitar a bit more.

The rest of us all nodded in agreement and began to play. I loved this song, it was one of my favorites that they've written. The best was when Michael had his little solo moment, it was amazing the way he did it.

After playing a few songs, I heard my ring tone. It was an excerpt from the song I Am the Doctor from Doctor Who. I picked it up and saw Seth was calling me. I looked at my friends and made a sideways smile. "I have to take this," I told them as I answered it. "Hello?"

"Hey, Ams, I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my place?" he asked.

"Uh..."

"My parents aren't home at the moment, and won't be till late tonight," he intrigued. "My brother is here, but he won't bother us. So, what do you say?"

I sighed. "I'm kind of busy at the moment," I told him.

"You're with those people again, aren't you?"

"No, no, no," I lied. "I'm out shopping."

"Amy, I really want you to come, I have a something special prepared for you," he said with a touch of sadness in his voice. "Remember what we agreed to at lunch the other day?"

"Yes," I breathed. I definitely remember what he told me at the lunch table. He told me that it made him upset that I was sitting with my friends, and that I needed to make it up to him this weekend. "I'll be there. It just might be a bit, I'm kind of far away," I gave in.

"That's okay, just come as soon as possible, I'm just gonna go run out and grab some things before you get to my place," Seth said. "See ya, babe."

"Bye," I murmured solemnly. Okay, I admit, I did see him as sort of a jackass but thought he'd be better alone... BUT HE WASN'T! (He's even worse alone, if ya know what I mean). He is still an arrogant person who only cares about his needs. I honestly don't know why I don't just break up with him. I don't even know why he wanted to be with me. I've had a crush on him for years, and now I don't even want to look at him. He's such a pig. All we do is literally make out whenever we are together. It's disgusting, honestly.

I put my phone down and saw the three guys looking at me with blank expressions. "It was him, wasn't it?" Michael questioned with a sigh.

I nodded slowly. "Yep," I sighed.

"Are you gonna leave?" Luke wondered.

I bit my lip and nodded slowly. "Yeah," I said looking down. "Sorry, I'll see you all later."
