Starbucks

Amelia's POV

Ashton invited me for a drink at Starbucks, so how could I refuse? Actually, to tell you the truth, I don't really like Statbucks. I hate coffee, and I only drink their smoothies. Otherwise, I don't really like Starbucks. There, I said it.

I parked my motorcycle in the parking lot of the little coffee shop. I then walked into the store and saw Ashton waving me over. He was sitting at this little table in the corner. I walked over and sat down across from him. "Heeeello, Amelia," Ashton welcomed with a smile.

"Hey," I responded. "So, what's up?"

Ashton then slid over an ugly colored cup with a green straw. while he took a sip from his coffee cup. I smiled in gratitude and then took a sip of my smoothie. The first time I had ordered it with him he thought I was drinking vomit. I then explained to him that I make them mix the strawberry and mango together to make a strawberry-mango smoothie.

"Can I tell you something?" Ashton asked. I nodded as I swallowed the bit of drink in my mouth. "Do you like me?"

I nearly snorted out my smoothie. "I'm sorry?"

"Do you like me?" he repeated.

"I'm dating you, what do you think?" I asked laughing a bit.

Ashton then sat up a bit. "I'm serious," he said. "Do you like me?"

I opened my mouth to answer straight away, but Ashton pressed his finger to my lips. "Think about it," he instructed.

I rolled my eyes and sat back to think. The first thing that popped into my head was "yes, of course" but the more I thought the more I rejected that. I then thought about Ashton and I's relationship. It was nice, I guess, except we seemed kind of fake. Mainly because the two of us are too good to be true. Our relationship seemed kind of forced, to me. I broke up with his brother, and he was there to comfort me on spot. It was almost like a horcrux in a way because I "killed" a relationship and latched myself onto the closest thing I could find: Ashton.

Oh my gosh, I'm Lord Voldemort and Ashton is Ashton Potter...

That makes me an awful person! That makes me evil! That makes me Voldemort! I don't want to be Voldemort!

I then looked at Ashton. If he wanted my complete honesty, I was gonna give it to him. "Ashton, you are a great guy," I started saying kind of sounding like one of those cliché movie girls, "and I do like you. I just like you as a friend, though. I don't feel like I like you in the other way. I'm sorry."

Ashton nodded. "I understand," he said. "It actually makes this better because now I can say this break-up was mutual. Agreed?"

I nodded. "Agreed," I said. "Now we can finish off this little meet up as friends."

Ashton smiled and he raised his cup to clink with my smoothie. "Excellent," he said.

No more Amashton :(
