Hemmings' House
Michael's POV
Amelia and I arrived at Luke's house after belting along to Green Day's Welcome to Paradise at the top of our lungs. I parked on the curb and Amelia and I walked towards the garage. I gave the "secret" knock and a few seconds later, the door was going up. Luke, Ashton, and Calum were all standing (well Ashton was sitting) with their instruments in hand (except for Ashton's which was in front of him).
I grabbed my guitar from its stand and started tuning immeadiately. Amelia took a seat on one of the bins that was full of Luke's old belongings. She sat on it and smiled as we all started playing random notes.
"I wrote a song," I blurted out to the guys. "I worked on it yesterday, it's the same one I've been writing for, like, ever."
"Show us what you've got," Calum insisted.
I played the beginning notes on my guitar and sang the song I had wrote. It was for Amelia, really. That's why I sang it to her.
When I finished everyone applauded and I bowed. "Thank you," I said with a huge smile on my face. "I call it Heartbreak Girl."
"Let's add the other instruments to it," Luke suggested.
We all then put all of the instruments' accompaniment. It took a while, but we did it and I was so proud that they all liked my song. In the final cut though, I never got a solo. Calum sang most of it, and Luke sang bits. I didn't really mind though because I wasn't the strongest singer compared to Luke and Calum.
"Let's go through that one more time," Luke instructed as he cleared his throat.
"You called me up, it's like a broken record saying that your heart hurts," Calum sang. "That you'll never get over him getting over you."
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
"Hold you tight, straight through to daylight, I'm right here when you gonna realize? That I could take away your hurt, heartbreak girl!" we all ended the song and a roar of applause arose.
This was our final song in our set list on tour. It's been three years since I've seen Amelia. We still text each other and have the occasional call, but never in person.
She works in the music business as a manager for upcoming bands, but that's all I really know. She says she's happy, but I can tell she's not.
What happened was that we released Heartbreak Girl and it became widely popular. We started writing more songs and we got the chance to go on tour. Amelia broke it off with me because she wanted me to be free while I lived my dream. The truth was that being a rockstar was only one of my dreams, it wasn't my dream. She was my dream.
I told her that we could still be together, but she refused and sent me away. We're still really good friends, but it's not the same.
Amelia Oswald was my first love and she will always be apart of me. I love her and I hope to see her again someday, but until then I don't know what to do.
I'm just a guy who's caught up in fame with his band and is looking for a purpose in life. Thank you.
Ew. Sorry for the ending. It really sucked. I just didn't know what else to do with it, so I just ended it. The End. Gosh, it really sucked... I'm thinking about writing a third 5SOS fanfiction and it'll be totally different from my other two. I don't know if I should sure or not though... We shall see...
