"I know this is awkward, and i know its unexpected, but um, demi i like you, okay? and uh, um, will you be my girlfriend?" A nervous, deep red Joe asked.

Demi turned red as well, maybe even redder.

She smiled, though, as big as she could. She had been waiting for this.

She nodded, scared to ruin it if she were to talk.

Joe smiled and let out a sigh of relief. He hugged her tight and Demi hugged back.

She giggled.

They were both so red but it wasn't going to stop them from hugging.

They were both so happy.

The happiest they had ever been.

•3 years later.•

Demi is now 22 and Joe is 25.

"Demi, STOP!!" Joe yelled, veins popping out of his neck.

"Then drop my stuff!" She yelled back.

She was holding his phone above the toilet.

Joe was holding some of her clothes and her most expensive heels that she has.

"If you drop my phone i will throw this crap out the window!"

"Crap? I spent a lot of money on that 'crap!' What the hell do you need your piece of shit phone for? To text another girl?" She was angry, by now. When she gets mad she throws accusations at Joe for cheating, even though he never would.

"Suure, dem. Keep on thinking that."

He scoffed.

"Its true! We all know you don't love me." Her voice cracked. She held back her tears.

"I love you! I do! I just wish you didn't treat me like complete shit! I'm sick of you accusing me of stuff I never would even think of! How long is this gonna go on, Demi?"

He was so sick of all this fighting. They had been fighting for 3 days in a row already.

A tear slid down Demi's face, and she put the toilet cover down and sat down on it, placing Joe's phone on the sink next to her.

She rested her elbows on her knees and cuffed her hands on her face, sobbing.

Joe sighed, put down her clothes and shoes and walked over to her.

Right as he was about to kneel down and comfort her, there was someone knocking.

He sighed again and walked over to the door and opened it.

It was an old lady, his neighbor.

"Are you guys okay? Im trying to sleep, so it would be very much appreciated i you were to shutup for once and go to couple therapy or something."

Joe rolled his eyes, "yeah yeah, okay sorry goodnight."

He shut the door in her face and walked back to Demi.

"I thought she couldn't hear, huh." He scoffed.

Demi was still crying, but Joe took Demi's hands out of her face and stood her up and hugged her.

"I love you, baby. I do. Don't ever say I don't."

She cried in his chest, hugging him even tighter.

"I'm sorry." She said.

Joe kissed her head, "i'm sorry, too."

She pulled away and looked at him, her mascara everywhere.

He didn't mind, though. She looked even more beautiful to him.

He smiled, wiping away her tears.

"I love you." She said, sniffling.

"I love you too." He said.

Joe looked at the clock, 2:14am.

Demi looked at the clock too, slightly giggling.

"2 hours huh?" Demi said.

They had been fighting since 12am.

Joe nodded, "that should be a record."

Demi laughed, which made Joe smile.

Demi slid her fingers through her hair, bringing it back.

•2 hours later.•

Demi fell asleep, Joe still awake.

She was basically wrapped around him, her face dug into his neck.

It didn't bother him. He actually loved it.

He couldn't sleep, he was thinking too much about their fight. He always does. The thought of losing her broke his heart, actually losing her would probably kill him.

He looked out their apartment glass door which led out to the balcony, looking at the moon.

He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
