Dear Diary,
So guess who has two thumbs and mom's didn't show up for Christmas? That's right, me! Her trip got extended five extra days so instead of being back by Christmas like she was supposed be she doesn't get back until the 30th.
I'm not mad at her or anything. I'm just disappointed. She would always make time for me when I was younger, but ever since she got this new job she hasn't been able to.
I understand that she's busy and does a lot for the both of us but I just expected that would she would make time for Christmas.
But it's okay. I'm just thinking too much. I need more sleep.
