BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
That was the sound Minho woke up to. Groaning, he rolled over in his bed only to be blinded by the sunlight seeping through his blinds. Letting out another light groan Minho begrudgingly sat up in his bed.
It was Tuesday and not only that but the first day of school. Oh how Minho hated Tuesdays. Something always manged to happened that made minho regret getting out of bed in the morning. And school starting on that same day did nothing but make it worse. As much as minho hated being home when his mother was, he loved sleeping alot more. Especially since she didn't bother him when he was.
Despite wanting to crawl back under his blankets and sleep, Minho got up and stretched, getting ready for the day ahead.
He did his normal routine of showering, skincare, and picking out clothes to wear. Today he was wearing a simple short-sleeved white shirt and black jeans with a black hoodie over top of that. Even though it was still warm out, he still wore something to cover his arms. He put on a pair of white and black Converse shoes and left down the stairs. As he got to the bottom he checked the time. 6:42am. Right on schedule.
Though school started at 7:40 for him he always got up much earlier than needed. It started out because he would wake up really early and wasn't able to go back to sleep and then it was because he would go to Chan's or one of his other friend's houses. He would eat a decent breakfast there and then be walked or driven to school. And today it was back to that routine.
Walking into his living room he noticed his mother lying on the floor, pills, pill bottles and an assortment of liquor bottles laying around her. Minho sighed as he walked over to his mother and picked her up, hoping she wouldn't wake up and add to the scars he already had to hide.
It seemed as though luck was on his side that day as he walked her up to her room and laid her down on her bed with no issue. He pulled the blanket over her and leaned down to kiss her forehead before turning off the lamp that sat on the side of her bed then quietly closed the door as he walked out.
Once back downstairs he began to clean up the pills and put them back into their bottles if they weren't too badly crushed. Then he picked up the liquor bottles and remaining trash his mother left behind. He put everything in a bag and tied it up to be taken out.
After that, he grabbed his school bag, keys, headphones and phone and started on his way to Chan's house.

Minho walked through the school doors at 7:25 with his friends hyunjin, chan, and changbin. Like always, everyone parted ways for them to walk. They were like royalty here. Every girl and even some boys wanted them. While most guys either wanted to be friends with them or completely hated them.
The girls were whispering about how hot each of them were and how they wanted to date them. Minho was a fan favorite. Everyone liked to paint him as this fuckboy that, under his hard and unreachable exterior, liked to fuck girls all day. When in reality all he ever did with a girl was kiss them, sometimes he would even make out with them. But he never went any farther than that. He couldn't have sex with anyone he didn't love. And never loved any of the girls he dated.
Minho hated the extra attention, so he put both earbuds in his ears as all the whispers and talk became muffled. He usually had one out so he could talk to his friends, but they understood how Minho was in school and left him be when he started disassociating.
Completely ignoring the people around him, he walked into his first period class and hoped today would at least be tolerable.

Minho walked into his last class before lunch, chemistry. He got into a seat at the very back and stared out the window as his lo-fi playlist played through his earbuds. Every once in a while he would look up to see if the teacher was there yet.
Finally after a few minutes the teacher walked in. Minho didn't take his earbuds out though since he usually did that when he saw the people around him start to take out their stuff.
He looked up to the teacher as he she was saying something about a new student. Not really caring, he turned to look out the window again and completely tuned out the teacher, getting lost in the music and his pensive thoughts.
He was only brought back to reality when he heard his name. "Minho, I said please raise your hand." Minho looked up with his usual blank expression and was met the the annoyed look of his chemistry teacher. Shrugging, he slightly raised his hand, not knowing what was going on.
"There, now go sit next to him" his teacher said with a smile. Minho's eyes wondered to the person she was talking to and saw a boy walking towards him. His hair was blonde and fluffy and fell over his forehead, his eyes were a pretty deep brown and his cheeks were puffy like a squirrel's. Though he was only wearing a simple outfit, he manged to make it look like something a model would wear.
Minho was awestruck. He had never seen a boy more beautiful.
The boy sat next to minho, as he was told, and turned to look at him. Minho kept a straight face as he looked at the boy next to him. "Hello" the boy smiled. "I'm jisung"
Minho simply gave a grunt of acknowledgement as he got out his notebook to start the lesson.
Even though minho didn't look it, he was absolutely blown away by the boy beside him. 'wow his smile is so pretty. And his voice is like honey, I swear I could listen to it all day. And what a pretty name. It suits him quite well' minho thought, feeling a slight smile threaten to appear on his face.
But he abruptly stopped what he was doing as he stared at his notebook in confusion. Why was he thinking like that? And about a boy too? He hadn't thought, thoughts like that since Lucas.
'I just...admire him. Yeah, that's all it is. Just simple admiration' Minho convinced himself.
He admired the boy. That's all it was. And that's all it will ever be.

They were taking notes when minho realized he needed his red pen. Without looking up, he reached inside his pencil case for said pen. But he soon realized he didn't feel it. Looking up he grabbed his pencil case and began to look through it, quickly coming to the realization that he didn't have it.
Minho sighed. What was he to do? This class required everything to be color coded and minho just lost the second most important color that he needed. He started thinking up quick solutions when his eyes wondered to jisung.
Running his hand through his hair in frustration he hesitantly tapped the boys shoulder.
Jisung turned to him with a smile. "Can I borrow a red pen please?" Minho asked in a hushed voice. Jisung nodded and grabbed a spare from his pencil case and handed it to minho. When minho grabbed it, their fingers brushed against each other's oh so slightly, but it sent tingles through the whole of minho's hand.
Shaking his hand slightly to get the feeling away he resumed taking notes, shaking off the tingles as just more admiration.
Though through the rest of class minho's mind was still on the feeling and he would sneak little glances at jisung whenever he could.

"I'm telling you hyung he was so pretty. I've never seen someone like that before" minho ranted to chan. They were currently at work in the break room. "Is that so?" Chan said. Minho nodded. "And you're sure you're not gay?" Chan asked through a chuckle. Minho scoffed. "Just because I admire him doesn't mean I like him. I like girls. I am 100% not gay." Minho said as he took a bite of his muffin."You know I really don't think so. But okay whatever you say Minho" chan went back to eating as the topic changed for the nth time since they got there.
