Alex and The Unwanteds

Then the monsters split up and most of the monsters had departed from the monsters which were left.

Then all of a sudden, they charged. Alex and Percy were surprised but Alex quickly opened fire at them using three arrows at the same time.

He kept shooting them down but more took its place. Soon they were across from the street. Alex shot a couple more times before taking out two spears and throwing at them. It impaled through a monster piercing the first monster and then the monster behind it.

Alex then took out his daggers and got ready as they jumped through the windows and from the doors. Alex threw his daggers and kept doing it until one was close enough.

He sliced open its stomach and put his other hand on its wound and shot flames into it. It quickly erupted into ash and exploded into golden dust.

He kept slicing and cutting for hours. Percy would sometimes help Alex out if Alex didn't see the attack and Alex would do the same. Soon the monsters retreated and Alex and Percy stood their covered in gold dust sticked with their sweat and blood.

They sat down and shared some of the golden jelly. It helped them heal and relaxed them. Alex grabbed some wood from the chairs and made a small fire. It helped relax them more.

Alex took a look around the room and took a sip from his water. The room was covered in mounds of gold dust.

"Good thing the other monsters ran off. We would have most likely have been killed if they all rushed at the same time." Percy said.

Alex responded saying, "We let too many go. I should have gone after them and shot them with my bow."

"You shot some of the monster that fled." Percy said raising his water before taking a drink. Alex shrugged and took a drink as well.

They took turns at night sleeping. Alex walked out of the building and saw a small monster trying to hide. Alex sighed and took his bow out and shot it, exploding to gold dust.

Alex sighed and sat on the curve of the sidewalk. He threw his daggers at a stop sign. Each hitting the dot in the i.

Alex looked at his fingers which looked cut but no blood came out. Alex saw the sun start to come up and then he saw a shadows. He heard marching and he quickly ran back inside and woke Percy up.

They both ran back outside to see them forming up.

Percy told Alex to shoot at them with his bow which Alex did. Alex pulled out his bow and started to spam at them. He saw them explode into dust and continued.

Tiredness struck him and he felt dizzy. But shook his head. He kept shooting until the put up shields and moved towards them. Alex then switched to his explosive arrows and shot at them.

Some fell down and were struck by a second arrow killing them while others kept on going. Alex then targeted cars which then exploded kill a lot more than one of Alex's arrow.

They were a block away before they shot back with arrows making them run back into the building. Alex eyes were half closed and he looked and Percy who seemed the same way he was.

Alex then poured water on his face. Not working, spawned a arrow and stabbed his shoulder. That seemed to work and he was a bit less tired.

He gave Percy a arrow and he did the same, flinching he looked more awake. Alex would fire back if possible and soon enough, it was the same as last time.

They fought them once they were in but this time they received a lot more blows and were forced up a floor. After the whole day of fighting the both could barely hold themselves.

"You sleep. I'll put some traps down which should explode making us both wake up. I'll be back so sleep." Alex said. He watched as Percy took a step to a couch and fell asleep before laying on it.

Alex walked down stairs and fell. He laid on the ground and was about to fall asleep when he heard a voice in the back of his head to get up and go.

Alex used a spear to get him up and walked down stairs. He used his explosive arrows and strings and put them everywhere. After finishing, he walked back upstairs leaving traps behind.

He then closed the door that lead into the room and put a chair under the door knob and locked the door just in case. He then fell onto a couch and fell asleep.

He woke up to multiple amounts of explosions and got up with his daggers. He ran with Percy to the door, unlocked it and moved the chair. They watched from the top of stairs as the monster were being eliminated by the traps.

Percy would throw his sword which a few seconds later, would reappear back to him. Alex would shoot the ones which had somehow got near. They bearly slept before getting woke up by the bombs.

Alex started to use bomb arrows which made the stairs crack and break making most of them fall down. The fall was too small for it to kill anyone but when they were getting up, Alex spammed arrows at them, killing all of them instantly.

Then there was a ding behind them and they ran to the elevator and Alex shot a explosive arrow killing a few and then Percy killed the rest which barely lived.

Alex gave Percy a few explosive arrows and he tied them to the elevator entrance and sent it down. A few seconds later there was a loud boom and a few shouts.

Alex moved as quickly to the stairs and looked over the edge to see monsters stacking up.

"Fuck OFF!" Alex yelled and used an explosive arrow on them making them fall and shot a couple more killing them.

After a few more hours of killing from the high ground, Alex heard them run off and told Percy he was gonna go check. Percy nodded and looked through the packs and told him that they were out of the golden jelly thing.

Alex bit his bottom lip and sighed. He went towards the elevator and pressed the button. He waited tiredly as the elevator came up. Once it opened, a sword appeared out nowhere and Alex bearly dodged it. It sliced the side of his stomach and he grimaced.

Percy quickly reacted and stabbed his sword through it showing them in gold dust. Alex put his hand his cut.

"Sit down. We can have a look later." Percy said. Alex looked at his eyes and saw them bearly awake.

Alex shook his head and said, "Not at a time like this. Rest some more. I'll shoot an explosive arrow if i see anything."

Percy was about to say something but Alex took a step inside and pressed a button sending him below.

Alex pulled back three arrows and once the doors opened he waited for any movement. Seeing and hearing none, he slowly walked forward. Looking around the room, he saw nothing and walked out of the building.

He saw a liquor store across the street. Alex looked around, seeing nobody, he quickly ran to the store and ran inside. He grabbed a plastic bag and started to put things inside like water, chips, small sandwiches, anything.

He filled another bag with band aids, and some bandages. He filled as much bags with anything. Alex whose hands were full ran back outside and back into the tall building they were defending.

Alex pressed the elevator button and quickly got inside, pressing the second floor. He tapped his foot until he was on the second floor and saw Percy sleeping on the same couch as before. Alex put the bags down and grabbed a sandwich and wolfed it down.

He then drank a full bottle of water in less than ten seconds. Alex then grabbed a bandage and took off his shirt. He used the bandage on his cut he got earlier.

After that he walked looked on a mirror which was on the wall. He had bags under his eyes and his hair was messy. He had cuts all over. Alex looked away and took the elevator back downstairs to place more traps.
