Alex and The Unwanteds

here a few days and don't know much about the people around here, I really need help with something. And if Sky was to come along, that would be even better."

"What are you asking." Alex asked drinking from his cup.

"It seems that three of our kids have sneaked out of Artemia on one of my boats to take a small, "vacation" but without knowing shipped towards Warbler. I was able to figure out their location because i kept something on the boast to see if somebody were to take the boat and I'm kindly asking if you could go with a few other to go save them and return back." He said sighing.

Alex looked at Sky, who then looked at Crow. "Who went on the island if you don't mind me asking." Alex asked.

"Well you know two of them, Meghan and Samheed. Also a girl named Lani went with them." He said.

Alex was shocked and bit pissed which showed to his face but quickly disappears but Sky saw.

"I would go but i'll have to take off her neck thingy." Alex said.

"Well if you're going, then you will leave tomorrow along with a few others. Now if you don't mind me, I must be on my way." He smiled and left.

Alex stood their and turned back to Sky.

"You don't have to go if you don't want to. I know it must be hard to to some place which you had just escaped from." Alex said taking a seat next to her bed.

She looked at the ceiling and sighed. She signed saying that she was the only one who knew the layout of the place besides that she doesn't want to be alone with the nurses who always seemed nervous.

Alex grinned a bit but then turned to see the nurses walk back with some food but then saw the food that they ate.

"You guys took too long so i got us some food. Also if you don't mind ima take off her thingy on her neck, but i cant have any distractions so if you could please leave for a sec." Alex told them.

"Fine." They said and left the room. Alex went to the door and closed it and locking it.

He came back and got all the tool he needed.

"It's going to be okay. But i am going to need you to not move for it could cause some problems. I need you to trust me." Alex told her grabbing her hand and gave it a squeeze. It seemed that there relationship was pretty stable and a good amount of trust between them.

She nodded and layed on the bed as he did the operation. After a couple hours he was finally finished.

He fell back in his chair and wiped the sweat of his forehead.

"You should be able to speak now." Alex told her.

"Thank you, Alex." Sky said smiling at him surprised as she heard his voice. Her eyes widened and she started to cry for she never thought she would hear her voice again. They hugged each other and sat in comfortable silence. At the sound of her voice Alex's heart ached.

Alex looked at the clock on the wall. "Well, as much as i like hugging you, we need some sleep for tomorrow." He smiled at her and she blushed a little and looked away. Alex got up and cleaned what he caused. He then grabbed some blankets in a cabinet and put it over Sky and then over Crow.

Alex walked towards the door and looked back. Sky already asleep. Alex looked at her face and he looked away smiling to himself. He turned off the lights and walked to his room. But then remembered that he left his weapons at the forge. He turned back and went to grab his weapons which he found on a table. He then looked at the sword and decided that Sky should at least be able to defend herself and he said up all night making a couple swords and daggers. He looked at the sky and found the sun coming up. He sighed and grabbed all the weapons and brought it to his room.

Once in his room, he grabbed a bag and put all the weapons in it. He put his weapons aside and went to the shower knowing he shouldn't sleep for he might miss the boat.

Barely being able to keep being awake, he took a long shower and put some clothes into another bag. Once all this was done, it was 8:01. Alex put his weapons on and grabbed both of his bags.

Once outside he saw the ship they would be using. He saw Mr. Today doing some checks off. Alex walked towards him and said, "I made some extra weapons if we need any." Alex showing him the bag full of weapons.

"Oh wow Alex, thank you for coming and great job for getting all those weapons.You look terrible though. You should get some sleep. You guys will be leaving in about half an hour. Is Sky coming?" Mr. Today asked.

"She coming. I'll sleep once we all start to leave. I'll go wake her up now in fact so she can get ready." Alex said and dropped the bag of weapons.

"Alright." Mr. Today said and winked at him.

Alex rolled his eyes and walked back inside to the infirmary. He turned on the lights and found her still sleeping. Alex walked to her bed side and thought of tickling her.

He smiled as he thought of her reaction. He removed her blankets which made she scrunch up all together trying to get some warmth. He the pocked the side of her stomach and her eyes went wide and she began to laugh out loud and breathing out a few words like "Stop" or "Please Alex."

Finally Alex stopped as she breather hard while Alex laughed at her reaction.

"Come follow me. You have to take a shower before we leave. We about thirty minutes so let's go." Alex said.

He walked out of the room and was in the hallway when Alex realized she wasn't following him. He turned back and poked his head inside and said, "C'mon."

She got up and blushed as they walked towards his room. Once inside, Sky said, "You should take a quick nap while i shower. You look bad. Don't worry I'll wake you up."

Alex put his stuff down and said, "Alright, but don't take more than twenty minutes." Alex jumped on his bed and fell asleep immediately upon impact.

Sky blushed as she watched him sleep. She was really tempted to move a lock of his hair but pushed herself into the bathroom and showerd. Once finished she quickly changed. She grabbed a black T- shirt which Alex gave her and she grabbed some jeans that he got for her.

She woke Alex and they both headed out.

"Before we go, take this." Alex handed her a sword and a dagger. "Do you know how to put it on?"

She shook her head. Alex tied the scabber to he waist and gave the dagger for her to put it wherever she need it to be.

Once on the ship, Alex had both of their clothes and put them below decks. He saw a hammock in the corner and went straight for it and went straight to sleep.

He woke to somebody shaking him. He open to see a guy that looked similarly like Meghan.

Alex got up and looked around realizing he was on the ship, below decks.

"C'mon we are almost near Welber." said the guy.

"You look like Meghan." Alex said getting up stretching.

"Im her older brother. Names Sean. Sean Ranger." said Sean as he pulled out his hand. Alex shook it.

"Alex." said Alex. He attached the spear and swords and then followed Sean above deck. Their he saw some familiar and then not so familiar faces watching the island zoom in. Alex looked at the sky and saw it coming dark.

"There should be about five guys in the trees with blow darts. They should have a dozen but be careful since they are really accurate. There should be a ton of fighters and workers working down inside. They should be here and here. They girls should be together and be here. The guy should be over here. Right about now they should be getting to sleep. The problem is that everyone is separated and so i think at day it would be
