XENIA'S POV:

I wanted to surprise him on his birthday next month. I know he didn't like celebrating birthdays is why I'll celebrate his. Hah. I know I didn't tell him the whole truth but at that moment I just couldn't. I felt as if someone dragged me back to that day and I'm reliving my worst nightmare. I'll tell him about Adrian and the kids soon enough. But first I have to meet Frederick and ask him about Michael's reaction after Trevor's body was delivered to his doorstep.

Xander went to the mansion a couple of hours ago to sort out some work and to investigate the person who stole their shipment money. I know what he meant when he said he's going to 'investigate'. With Xan, the investigations turns very, very dirty. It's like, he's a completely differently person.

Since it wasn't that cold today, I decided to wear my white top with blue shorts and peach cardigan over it.

Slipping on my favorite pair of white converse, I left my half wet hair to air dry. I called Xander to inform him that I'm going out to meet Frederick. He was shocked last night when I told him that he's been giving me information about the happenings in the house. Tucking the gun behind my back, I kept a very small but sharp dagger in my shoes and drove to our usual coffee spot.

"Hey, how have you been?" I ask sitting opposite to him.

"Been great Donna, heard you came back." He asked and I nod. A waitress came over and we placed our orders.

"Tell me everything." i smiled satisfyingly and relaxed back in my chair.

"He was shell shocked but didn't utter a single word about it. Oh and he's been seeing a woman lately. She seems important." he smirked. Our orders arrived and I sipped on my Americano.

"God, I love these donuts." I spoke as I bit into the chocolate donut. Frederick chuckled at my childishness.

"So, about this woman. Kidnap her." I shrugged nonchalantly.

"WHAT?!" He almost spit his coffee out.

"Yep." I answered popping the 'p'.

"But-" I cut him off by raising a challenging brow.

"Alright Donna." He said placing his now empty cup on the table and grabbing the coat he got up, nodding at me one last time. I returned the gesture and continued to sip leisurely on my coffee.

"Anything else, ma'am?" The barista asked again and I nodded.

"I need a box of six doughnuts to go, please." I smiled and handed her the money. After five minutes, she arrived back again and handed me the box.

"Thank you for coming. Have a nice day." She beamed brightly and I couldn't help but grin.

"You're too sweet I'm sure your boyfriend is lucky to have you." I said shifting my eyes back to the counter where a teenage boy was standing and staring at her lovingly the entire time. She blushed and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
