For the first time since she'd arrived, Eva didn't put her name on the list of kids who were staying year round.

Instead, she stayed in her cabin and packed up, ready to head to her brother's apartment.

Leo and Festus were giving her a ride, and then she'd see her brother again.

She was nervous, to say the least.

She glanced in the mirror the Athena kids had put on the wall for everyone to use (the fact remained that there were several teenagers in the cabin, so a mirror was necessary), and took in her appearance: tan skin, shorts, plain white t-shirt, hoodie around her waist, flip flops, her camp necklace, and her hair (back to it's normal honey-blonde but with red tips) loose around her shoulders. She picked up her dagger, which normally was in a sheath buckled around her leg (I'M PRETTY SURE IT'S A THING), and considered strapping it on, but decided it might not be the best decision to have a knife visibly on her person when she made her first impression on her brother's girlfriend.

That was what she was most worried about: his girlfriend. She hadn't talked much with her on the phone; really, all she knew was that her name was Clara and she was 23. She really hoped that Clara wouldn't throw her out when she told them about her mother's side of the family, but you never know.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. "Hey, Anna," said Leo, tapping his feet in anticipation. "Ready to go?"

She ran her thumb over the flat side of her blade, then sheathed it and put it in her backpack. "I guess."

He touched her arm. "Don't worry. It'll be fine."

She took a shaky breath. "If it crashes and burns, I'm blaming you."

He kissed her forehead. "Deal. Let's go, I've got Festus waiting and ready."

She turned to take one last look around the cabin, then smiled brightly at Leo. "Okay. Let's get this show on the road, in the air, whatever."
