Lies between my tears

The first encounter

I woke up very early today, got dressed properly wearing my shorts and polo shirt ready for the first day of school. I never thought that I would be entering the biggest school here in Thailand. It is a dream of all youth to enter this prestigious school and I'm glad I'm part of the exam passers and now I know that dream do come true.

"Nong kongpob come down here and eat your breakfast, you might want to be late on the first day of  class won't you ?"

"Coming down P'"

I'm leaving with my sister and grandmom since I was a kid and since my mom and dad are busy with their own lives after they separated they left us to our grandmom's care.

"Where's grandmom P' Mae "

"She's in the garden watering the plants"

"Oww okay! Uhhmm what a nice smell is that P' i think I might get full just smelling  the food you cooked" I even rub my stomach to look real

" stop teasing me kong, come on call grandmom and let's eat before the food gets cold"

Well, P'mae is a fan of cooking that's why even smelling the food she cooks I can easily get full.

"Grandmom, come on let's eat inside, P'mae cooked your favourite adobo"

"Okay nong kong, you go first I'll follow after I turn the faucet off"

"Chai khap"

" So today will be the first day of your high school life, right nong" grandmom asks me with so much excitement drawn on her face

I'm thankful that P'mae and I were left with her, at least we can feel the presence of love coming from our grandmom.

"Uhhmm, yes grandmom, well you look more excited than I aren't you grandmom?"

"Of course, that's the biggest school here you should be proud of it, take this in mind okay nong you will meet many bullies there because  you know that, that school is for high-class people only and because of your eagerness to enter there you got the scholarship right "

" yes P' "

" you should always avoid having trouble with them, you should have long patience towards them, don't let emotions take over you okay. And lastly, maintain your high grades "

" of course P' i won't let you and grandmom down " I even raise my hand and salute them

I'm not quite sure if I'm excited or not, because I might get bullied just like P'mae said all students in that school has the power to discriminate against me since I'm just a commoner and have nothing to show them except my high grades.

After eating and fixing the things I waite ford for sis and grandmom as a sign of respect and bid goodbye and went to the bus station to go to school. Right now I'm feeling nervous at the same time scared.
When the bus comes I hurriedly pressed myself inside to get in the end chair of the bus and sat put my headphones on and played my favourite music.

I looked around the bus and everybody seems to be staring at me not knowing that I forgot to plug my headset into my phone and the music is so loud I'm listening to Selena Gomez song entitled good for you I  look around and everyone is laughing already what a shame kong I smiled bitterly.

As the bus stop and reached the school gate I got off out of  the bus and looked around I can't help myself but be amazed at the surroundings

There are a lot of students wearing nice clothes, and the others are getting off to their cars I felt like a slave like me is entering a castle full of princes and princesses.

I'm on my way inside the gate when I suddenly bumped a student my age I guess,  I stared at him for a couple of seconds when I noticed that he is wet and almost crying. I can't help but smile thinking that I'm not the only servant on this castle haha.

That triggered me to ask if he's okay

And this trembling man holds my hand and asks for help

" P' please help me "was the first word that came out of his mouth

I'm about to say something when I heard a shout coming out from the school gate

" where's that nerdy nerd Rome, come here at once or I'll let your bone out of your skin"

A scary words that I heard from a student, I felt like a demon was awakened from hell

He walks toward us and grabs Romes's arm

"There you are Rome, where have you been na I've been looking for you" the demon pull Rome from my back and I can't help myself but slap his hands

" hey! What the hell?  Are you blind or something P'? As you can see he's wet " I angrily shout to this senior

Many students are staring at us already  but I don't care I they'll call Me nosy or what all I want is to help this student

" mind your business nong, get the hell out of my sight and give me back my slave" this demon is getting into my nerves

I tried my very best not to look scared even though my legs are trembling and my heart wants to get out of my ribcage.

"No you step back, that doesn't mean that you are rich and you can afford everything you will do whatever you want to!" I told him with the highest pitch of my voice

"Now get lost and move we'll pass"  I grabbed one's arm and were about to walk when this shot laughed and  stared at me from head to foot

" well you are brave as fvck, I like your spirit nong, okay if you want to help then go, but remember this when you stepped on that gate I assure you that every single movement you are doing ill keep an eye on you" the last word he said before we left them

I stepped inside the gate and looked at him " okay then, bring it on, I won't let a coward like you ruin my high school life" I even rolled my eyes heavenwards and crossed my arms on my chest to look brave.

" Okay then, let me give show you what hell is, and how it tastes" I can even see drawn horns n his forehead while saying this, that was the last word he said before they left us.

Students start murmuring I even heard that  l might die in an instant

I should have chosen the right person to get fight with, at this moment all I can think is that I got myself into trouble on the first day of school

Should I start digging my own grave?.
