Enchanted Forest, before the first curse....

Evil Queen: The pirate looked shocked, and I looked ashamed. Had no idea I could.

"You want to kill your own flesh and blood? What could she possible had done to you?!"

"That's my business. Yours is to find her and bring her heart to me! Without it I can't cast my curse."

"Very well, where can I find her?"

"Oh, don't worry, she'll find you. All you have to do is travel to the realm where she is now. You see, Danielle escaped from me at a very young age, and ever since then, she's been travelling throughout the realms. In a few of them, time moves faster, in others, slower, but where she's now, it doesn't even move at all. And that's a place you know too well."

"Neverland." He replied, not very happy to know he'd have to go back to that awful island where he spent more than a hundred years.

"In deed." I said, placing his hook back where it belonged, and giving him a seductive look. "It is now enchanted, it will allow you to rip only one heart, so choose wisely."

"Fine. But I'm curious, in Neverland I've only seen lost boys, why would Pan want her?"

"Because she's special for him. It's a long story, yours is very simple, on the other hand. Bring her heart to me, I'll cast the curse and then, you'll have your revenge."

"Your wish is my command, your majesty."

"Good." I picked Jefferson's hat and threw it to the floor. It spinned faster and faster until it opened a gigantic portal.

Neverland, before the first curse....

Captain Hook: I hate this island, it's stupid trees and sand, the thorns filled with dreamshade, the eternal night that rises above our head. Daytime is nothing but a lost dream in Neverland, it ended a few years ago, even though time is something that doesn't exist in this god forsaken pit.

It was ironic. I left the island and searched for Belle in the hopes she'd give me the location of the dark one's dagger. I thought I'd get my revenge my leaving the island, but now I'm back at it's heart because apparently, I was wrong. It's here that I'll find my revenge.

I still couldn't put my finger at what Regina's daughter could do to her, that would make her hate her so much. I guess I'd find out when I met the lass. But I could already tell, the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

I used my sword to cut the branches and cut way to Pan's compound. I didn't think she'd be there, but it was worth the shot. At that time, the lost boys were hopefully asleep. The problem was that it never seemed to be past their bloody bedtime.

There it was! The camp with the hollow trees surrounding it, a smaller one cut into a rustic bench.

The lost boys were finally asleep, after a long night of parting and sword fighting, drinking lots of the rum they stole from me and dancing as well as awfully singing.

I could see Pan, he was sleeping amongst the crowd in a hay. But no girl.

Where was she?

"Drop your sword, now!" A deep feminine voice demanded, as she herself pointed a sword to my neck.

Regina's daughter, I presumed. Well, I was right, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. I did as she asked, but then, grabbed her arms and threw her at one of the hollow trees.

She gasped in defeat, I could easily disarm her. Now it was me who carved a sword at her neck.

My body came close to hers and my eyes melted into her blue-sky look. We matched our eye color and raven hair, yet hers was curly.

She was beautiful just like her mother, about nineteen years old. Crimson thick lips, pale marble skin and wore an adventure costume, with her inked locks combed in a messy ponytail.

"Who are you?!" She asked, abruptly and I told her not to raise her voice, threatening her with the sword.

"My name's Hook." I explained, and she rolled her blue eyes at me.

"Clever nickname."

"What does a girl like you do in Neverland?"

"I was taken by the shadow."

"The shadow doesn't take girls."

"It took me. Because Pan wants me."

"Wants you? Wait, do you expect me to believe he is in love with you?"

"No, silly! Pan only loves himself. He wants my heart. I thought you knew it, why else are you here? Didn't he ask you to kill me? I heard you took orders from him in the past."

"Well, I'm here to kill you, but not in Pan's orders." I explained.

"What?!" She looked frightened. "Then who?" She asked, with her lips shacking.

"Your mother!" I revealed and without further ado, carved my hook inside her chest and ripped it out.

Instead of seeing a glowing heart in my hand, there was nothing. And the girl looked amused as I looked confused.

"Bloody hell..." I whispered.

"Do you really think I'd keep my heart in my chest knowing Pan wants it for himself?" She asked, very calmly.

"This!" She screamed, holding my heart with her bare hands, as I screamed in pain. "Is how is done!" She said, bringing my body close to hers and biting her lip as she got lost in my eyes.

I was sure that her magic was powerful. Maybe she was in Pan's camp waiting for an opportunity to destroy him before he did it to her. Everyone was caught in a sleeping spell, for not even my scream of pain could wake up the lost boys and Pan.

"My mother never learns with her mistakes. I'd think she learned to never ask someone to do her dirty work, after a huntsman failed her in the capture of a heart."

"You know? You look a lot like her." I said, even though the timing for sarcasm was not the best one.

"Shut up!" She screamed at the glowing heart with hints of darkness, she held in her arms.

"She should have come, she should kill me herself."

"What did you do to her so she could want you dead?"

"You really want to worry with that when I'm literally holding your heart with my hand?"

"Well, since you're taking so long to crush it."

She laughed at me, cruel and sadistically.

"I'm not going to crush it...I'm not my mother." She explained, placing the heart inside my chest with so much strength she almost crushed my lungs.

"Argh!" I gasped and fell on the floor thanks to the brutally of that act.

"What are you going to do?"

"I have so many enemies. Pan, my mother.... But thanks to you, I just found a way to take care of all of them."

"What? How?"

"My mother had to give you a portal so you could come to Neverland, kill me and then take my body to her. Now, I'm going to use it to escape Pan and then, I'll find a way to kill Regina, myself."

"How?"

"Well, let's pretend I'm dead and when she lies her eyes on my body, I'll rip her heart out."

The curled ink haired witch smirked devilishly and I could only wonder what happened between mother and daughter for them to hate one another so intensely. I didn't have the answer to that, but of one thing I was sure, it must had been something truly terrible.
