Oracle

Chapter 6

Mary's P.O.V.

"Ugh!! This is pointless! I give up!" I yelled frustrated. I had been working on my mind controlling power with Augur for two weeks, but hadn't had any luck.

"You can't just give up. You have to practice more." Aug comforted.

"Practice?" I asked him in a disbelieving tone. "What do you think I have been doing for 3 solid months?! I don't just practice with you, I practice with my kodi!!" I yelled at him. "This is useless! Just like me! I can't control minds to do the simplest things like raise a hand!! Lets face it, I'm probably the worst Oracle there ever was! Maybe I wasn't even supposed to be Oracle in the first place." I said gripping my arm. Augur looked taken aback like he hadn't expected me to say that.

"What!?!?" He yelled. "Or look at me." He gripped my shoulders making me face him. I had never seen him so upset in the 4 four months I have known him. "You are not useless and you are not the worst Oracle! You are probably one of the best. I have never seen anyone more determined to do something as much as you! You were meant to be Oracle for a reason. You have a huge heart, you take care of everyone and everything, you are kind, caring, adventurous, wild, crazy, and so much more! Never think that you are worthless." He praised. I had tears shining in my eyes. No one had ever said that about me. I hugged him tightly. He seemed surprised by my actions but he hugged back.

We stayed like that for a few minutes but then backed away slowly. We stared at each other intensely. Augur lifted my chin slightly an leaned in. I did the same. Soon, our lips brushed each others and then we were kissing. I felt electricity run through me. Something I never knew I would feel. We kissed for about 10-20 seconds before we broke away.

Ok I know that was horrible but I have never had experience writing that stuff. But other than that I think I did weeellll.... Sure anyway I know it was short but I am still in the middle of my writers block. Also I know the kiss thing was rushed but again I didn't know what to do. I feel like I have just been putting down junk. Anyway I will try to update soon but who knows when that will happen. Anyway adios!! (Ya this was really short but whatever!)
