Paranoia,
That feeling that sneaks up on you,
Oh-so-slowly
Laying it's cold, cold fingers
On your spine. It knows that you know it's there,
And there's nothing you can do about it.
It slinks around your stomach
And twists through your ribs,
Exploring, crawling
Underneath your skin.It settles,
Into the darkest recesses of your mind.
And once it's made itself at home,
There is no way to get it out of you.
No matter what you do or where you go,
It will wait, in the back of your mind.
You are stuck with it forever.
