Everything is shifting in place,
And nothing is as it seems.
A turning point, almost;
Neither good or bad,
But something is going to change.I don't know what's going to happen,
Walking across unexpected territory
To see what lies on the other side.
Will I get my happy-ever-after?
Or will the ground fall out from under my feet
And take me to the place I used to be?Anticipation creeps up on me,
And dread settles in the pit of my stomach.
I feel like I'm about to open Pandora's box,
Or take my first step into another world.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared.All I can do is hope,
but there's no going back now.
