Those eyes hold everything,
Secrets beyond your imagination,
Thoughts that no one
Would dare to say.
Enough pain to last a hundred lifetimes,
The dull sheen of trauma,
The look of someone
Who's been to hell and back
And still lived to tell the tale.
They can switch in an instant,
One moment glittering,
Bright with mirth,
The next, cold and merciless,
Like the darkest waters.
They are the key to the mind,
The windows to the soul,
And the only way to know
Exactly what she's feeling. No matter what she says,
Her eyes will never lie.
