It Goes On

Sonny left my thankfully empty house after a shower and some messing around. As soon as he left my mood instantly deflated. I was already so over this house hunting thing. I was meeting the lady at the first home in about an hour so I got ready and just lounged around, appreciating the silence. 

This day sucked. I saw three properties and I don't know if it was just me not really caring but I ended up signing a lease on the third property I saw. We, and by we I mean my father, managed to work out a deal on a six month lease. My dad thought six months would be enough because he was a little skeptical that I picked  a place so easily. 

I was able to move in in two days, which gave me enough time to pack my things and collect myself. 

I texted Sonny that night when I was at dinner with my dad telling him I found a place. 

"That was fast but happy for you." He texted back right away. 

"How's dropping the bass?" I asked and I didn't get a response until I was driving home. I checked it at a red light. 

"Great. Setting up more collabs." He texted back. I responded when I pulled into a parking spot. 

"With who?" 

"Ellie Goulding and La Roux wants a remix" He responded quickly. I was walking up to the front door when my phone started ringing. 

"Yeah?" I answered as I stepped inside.

"Hey, we are doing a little get together at Anton's. Come over." He said and I threw my purse on the couch. 

"Okay. What time?" 

"In like an hour." 

"Okay. See you then." I hung up and I plopped onto my bed and sighed. 

"Why so gloomy?" Todd asked from my door frame while holding Lil. 

I sat up and held my arms out to hold her. 

"Hi pretty baby." I said in a ridiculous baby voice. She made this cooing noise and I smiled. I stood up and walked out into the living room with Todd following. 

"I found a place." I told him sitting down on the couch with the baby. Making silly faces at her. 

"That was fast." He said. 

"Yeah, I made a snap decision." I told him shrugging a little. 

"What are you up to tonight?" He asked. 

"Party at Sonny's friends." I said. He nodded and stood up. I handed the baby back to him so I could start getting ready. 

I just changed into some dark jeans and a cut off tank top muscle tee thing. It was white and somewhat long. I had on a lacy black bandeau under that you could see through the sleeves. I threw on a black and gold chunky necklace and black combat boots. I did my makeup fast and just ran a hand through my hair leaving it the way it was. I ended up making myself a sandwich so I had something in my stomach before I started drinking. As soon as I finished I was out the door.

"Tell Skrillex I said hi." Todd said as I was grabbing my purse and keys. 

I drove to Anton's and thankfully was able to park right across the street. I walked up and could already hear music playing. I just let myself in and was greeted by a group of people lounging around. 

"Hey!" Anton jumped up and came over to hug me. 

"Girl!" Penny jumped up after him and hugged me tightly. I laughed and grabbed a locket of her hair. 

"Look at this!" I said laughing at her new hair color. "I feel like you've never had the same hair color twice." I chuckled. She was still holding on to my arm and she laughed.
