Sonny was coming over today. We worked out that he would just live with us for the two nights that he was here. He said he only really needed somewhere to sleep because he would be at the studio most of the time. I kind of took off work but not really. I said I was working from home since my only tasks were to place orders online and make a few phone calls. I totally could have gone in but I didn't want to miss him.

I hated that I missed him so damn much. We weren't even a thing so I don't know why I missed him so much.

He was supposed to get in early this morning so I got up obnoxiously early to start cleaning up. Sonny called me to tell me he was on his way over just to drop off a bag and then he'd be gone until night time.

We hugged when he got here and just like he said, he dropped a bag and was out the door. I was feeling incredibly lonely again.

I worked on my laptop from the kitchen table all morning. Kristen came out ready for work and her and I sat and talked for a bit while she got a cup of coffee. She said she was excited for Sonny to stay with us.

She left and then Todd came out ready to go to his job.

"Will Sonny be here when I get off?" He asked as he passed through the kitchen.

"I don't know. Wouldn't be surprising if he wasn't."

Todd stared at me for a bit. "You need to get out or something. Don't just sit around all day and wait for him."

I don't know why but his comment made me angry. I wasn't just sitting around and waiting for him. I rolled my eyes and just said, "Okay."

I went grocery shopping later in the afternoon mostly because I had to pick up some paperwork from work. I texted Sonny asking if he wanted anything specific?

'No I'm chill with anything. Are you out?' He texted back.

I told him I was at the grocery store and he asked if I could pick him up afterwards. He texted me the address and I made my way there after shopping.

"Hey. Thanks for picking me up." He said as he climbed in my car with his laptop and headphones around his neck and a few cords.

"No problem. I thought you were going to be later?"  I asked as I merged into traffic.

"I was planning on it but then I figured I could do what I need to at your place. Get to spend a little more time with my favorite fan." He snickered.

"I feel honored." I told him and rolled my eyes but I was totally smiling like an idiot.

We made it back to my place and he helped me carry groceries in.

"You sure bought a lot of wine." He commented pulling everything out of the bags.

"I like a good glass of wine every now and then." I told him and he laughed.

"Every now and then? This many says 'glass every night' not 'occasionally'"

"Leave me alone!" I whined.

"I can't do that." He said and I turned to look at him. We had a mini staring contest before I looked down.

We unpacked all the groceries and he grabbed his laptop and sat on the couch. He set everything up on the coffee table in the small living room. He started opening all his programs and files. I grabbed myself a glass of wine since we had just been talking about it and sat on the end of the couch.

"There's that glass every now and then." He laughed.

"Want anything?" I figured it was rude not to ask. He said he'd take a glass too.

He let me listen to what he was working on and I gave my commentary which of course was all good. We were interrupted when my phone rang and it was someone from work so I had to take it. It ended up turning into this big production where I had to call a company we just ordered a ton of these weird ribbon basket things and change our order and it turned into this giant ordeal.

By the end of it I was beyond annoyed and practically slammed the phone down.

"I hate this job." I announced and Sonny stopped playing on his computer to turn to me.

"Why do you work there then?"

"Because I need a paycheck." I told him and I got up to bring the bottle of wine to the coffee table.

"Do you like the planning or do you want to do something else?"

I told him how I loved talking to people and meeting people and that I loved what I used to do but they fired me so here I was stuck at this job and he nodded and put his input in.

It wasn't long until we were a few glasses deep and I asked him to show me how he make his music.

"Okay, come here." He patted the spot next to him and I gladly scooted over. We were so close to each other that I was practically leaning on him.

He started pushing keys on his laptop and he showed me how he starts a song and the processes he goes through.

At some point I was leaning on him a little more than I probably should have been and he turned his head to look at me and I looked at him and next thing you know we are making out on my couch.

I felt like I was sixteen again with a boy over while my parents weren't home. But it felt so damn good. After what felt like forever we pulled apart to breathe but of us panting.

"Good to have you back." I said breathlessly and he laughed.

"Good to be back." He ran a hand through his hair. I grabbed his face with both of my hands and kissed him for only a few seconds before I pulled away. I stood up to grab a new bottle of wine.

The day was a combination of Sonny working on his music and us making out. I was so beyond happy that he was here and that he was happy to be here. I loved watching him make music and how passionate he was about it.

I knew tonight when we finally decided to go to bed would be interesting.
