Heather Chandler's POV
I woke up feeling achy and uncomfortable all over, from my neck to my back to my legs. I went to sit up before realizing that I was already sitting. I looked around, seeing that I was in my home theater.
I then also noticed a heaviness weighting me down on one side, and glanced over to see a sleeping girl. A sleeping girl with (h/l) (h/c) hair. That was (y/n).
Well, fuck.
I nudged her gently to wake her and eventually she started stirring. She opened her eyes, blinking a couple times, and looking around. I removed my arm from her waist and she shivered.
"Put that back," she groaned, snuggling her face into my shoulder. I shook my head and got up, letting her fall. She groaned.
"I hate you!" She sang with a fake grin, sitting up.
"Love you too babe, now let's get breakfast," I winked, taking her hand to drag her out of the theater. On the way down, we passed the others, still snoring their lungs out.
"Now, what should we make?" I asked as we left the theater to go to the kitchen, which was unfortunately upstairs.
"Pancakes?" She asked, voice still scratchy from sleeping.
"Alright, what about you cut up fruit to put on them? I'm not sure I can trust you with an oven or just about any heat source," I smiled back at her, and she shot me a glare.
"Fine, you're lucky I'm a fantastic fruit-slicer," she shot back.
"Yeah, we'll see," I teased, stopping at the grand stairway in front of us. It was white marble, with little accents of gold. Only the best from dad's credit card.
"Why must stairs exist?!" (y/n) whined melodramatically. I shook my head in sympathy.
"Because the world hates us darling. But I have an idea," If I could carry her bridal-style up the stairs, then she'd totally kiss me. Plus, I was strong enough to. I did it before with an ex who was about (y/n)'s size. And yes, I secretly dated a girl before and carried her up the stairs.
"What's your idea?" She tilted her head like an adorable little puppy. A puppy with messy-as-hell hair and a skirt that was riding up her waist.
"I'll carry you up the stairs," I smirked. She shook her head, but I gave puppy dog eyes. She started to look more hesitant, before nodding.
"Fine, but if you drop me I'll break your bones and steal your stuff," She huffed. I grew a huge grin and swept her off her feet.
Literally.
"I thought I was gonna jump on your back!" She giggled. I pressed a kiss to her lips and she quieted down, just staring up at me and blushing, wrapping her arms around my neck.
I gave her a small smile and started climbing the stairs, swinging her a bit to mess with her. She clung to my t-shirt, smiling like a buffoon. I felt my heart swell in my chest.
I wanted this to happen in ten years from now on our wedding day, and I'd carry her to our shared room, nothing dirty in mind unless she wanted to. I'd be happy holding her close and whispering her a lullaby, watching her eyes flutter closed. I'd be perfectly content just living with her, supporting her, and softly pressing kisses to every inch of her face.
But until then, I'd settle for carrying her to the kitchen to make some pancakes for our friends. They always say breakfast is the most important meal of the day for a reason, might as well follow the crowd in that regard.
"How are you not dropping me? I mean, I'm happy you're not, but holy hell how are you this strong?"
"Sometimes I wanna carry pretty girls up the stairs, okay?" I teased, chuckling at her.
