Vampires Suck

I woke up the next morning on the living room floor. I looked over and saw Elena and Bonnie next to me sleeping. After we got Bonnie out of there last night we made her sleepover.

We were scared she would go after Damon and that wouldn't end well. I looked at the time and realized we had only 15 minutes to get ready for school.

"Elena!" I yelled shaking her and Bonnie. They both jumped up and rushed to get ready. I quickly got ready and shoved a granola bar in my mouth before running to Elena's car.

She kicked it into gear and broke a dozen traffic laws to get us there with a minute to spare. I ran to my first class and sat down breathing hard.

I saw Stefan sitting down and I passed him a note because Alaric already started. I asked him if Caroline was ok and he sent a note back saying she was fine and sleeping it off at the boarding house.

I was relieved but still on edge. Katherine did this and she could be anywhere and looks just like Elena. She could fool anyone.

And now we have to deal with the Caroline problem. Caroline was strong and would get over this but it's going to be hard.

Her moms on the town council who plot to kill vampires. Her family dynamics are gonna suck if her mom finds out. She'd probably go nuts if we weren't here for her.

I trust Stefan will help her. He's such a good guy. I don't blame Bonnie for being pissed at Damon, he may be my best friend but he's still an ass, but going all I'm gonna kill you on him was too far.

I'm gonna go to the boarding house after school to check on him. Bonnie got him good last night and I was too focused on getting her away from him that I couldn't go see him last night.

School went by pretty slowly as usual and Elena dropped me off at the Salvatore house after school. I opened the door and walked in. I found Damon in the studied and, of course, downing a bottle of bourbon.

"Rough night" I said sarcastically. He looked up and rolled his eyes. "Yeah got assaulted by Sabrina the moody ass witch" he said downing the glass.

I grinned "she's calmed down and won't go looking for you" I told him. "That's too bad, I really wanted to be a human marshmallow again" he said sarcastically.

"Aren't you chipper today" I said grabbing the bottle and taking a sip. "I'm rubbing off on you" he said taking it from me.

"Well I realized I need to lighten up" I said taking it back.  "What were you thinking?" I asked him.

He looked over at me confused. "How could you do that to Jeremy?" I asked him. "I didn't mean to. I just snapped" he explained to me.

"You're lucky he's ok otherwise Elena and I would probably never speak to you again" I replied. "I know" he said.

We put on the tv and after a while, I fell asleep on his shoulder. He chuckled and put a blanket over me.
