"Call me if you need anything, okay?" I said as I watched Raiden lay on a hospital bed.
"I'll be fine, my mom is on her way. But Ella—thank you for everything." Raiden said.
I smiled as I nodded my head.
I then walked out of the hospital and over to Justin waiting for me in his car.
"It's been a long day, I'm tired." I sighed as I sat in the passenger seat and buckled my seatbelt.
"Well hello to you too." Justin said.
"I'm just kidding." He laughed.
"No, I'm sorry. How was your day?" I said.
Justin laughed. "No, really. I was just kidding. I know that you're tired. How is...he doing though."
"Raiden's...slowly progressing. He accepted the fact that he can't walk anymore, but it's safe to say that he's alive and healthy."
Justin nodded his head. "Cool."
"Did you eat all day?" He added.
It's been two weeks since Raiden got into his car accident and I've been missing work just to be in the hospital with him everyday since is mother works a full time job.
But I'm happy that he's okay, although he's in a new chapter of his life...and what I mean by that is, Raiden can no longer walk on his two legs. His car accident was so bad that it paralyzed him.I nodded my head. "Yeah, I ate."
"Why are you lying? I know you too well. You didn't eat." Justin laughed.
"Ughhhh. I'm not hungry Justin." I giggled.
"Mhm. Right."
I smiled as I stared at Justin while he began to drive.
"What?" Justin laughed.
"I'm just wondering how we ended up together. You could have been with any girl in the world." I cooed.
"You're not just any girl."
I smiled as I took a deep breath and stared out the window.
"What's on your mind?" Justin asked.
"Nothing... Why?" I said as I faced him again.
"Stop lying." Justin laughed as he arrived to our apartment's public garage and parked his car.
"Babe, it's nothing." I assured as we got out of the car and walked into the elevator.
"Ella, come on. Talk to me."
"Okay, okay." I said as we walked out of the elevator and over to our front door.
"Were you ready for a child...when I was pregnant?" I asked nervously as Justin unlocked the door.
"Mmm. So that is what this is about." He said as he opened the front door and let me walk in first.
"I would have been happy to start a family with you." He added as he shut the door behind him.
"Don't just say that to make me feel better."
"What do you mean?" Justin laughed.
I sighed. "I don't know. —I've just been thinking and what if we're not meant to be together. Like...what if we end up like my parents. What if— we really don't know each other. You know?"
