Now we both were laying down with our hairs wet from the previous shower, Madeleine was sleeping peacefully on my arms but I couldn't fall asleep. What did Mad meant to say with what she told me one hour ago?

Yes, we've had our discussions and senseless fights sometimes but doesn't that happens on all relationship? The idea is to always overcome our problems, find a solution to figure things out... We're supposed to be a strong and lasting relationship, right?

—Love, wake up -I hear Madeleine whispering to me as she was moving my body with one of her hands- Thomas, come. Get up, help me

I thought for seconds to open my eyes due to the tiredness I had in my body but I ended up giving up and opening my eyes only to find the woman of my life looking as if she just woke up, her hair was a mess and still, she looked like the most gorgeous woman on earth

—Mhm? -I mumble sleepy- what time is it?

—I don't know, but remember that the guys stayed in last night -she sits on the bed grabbing a hair tie from her side of the bed and putting her hair up into a ponytail-

—How are you feeling? -I ask her while observing her movements-

—Can I answer good and bad at the same time? -she nervously giggles-

—If you explain yourself, yes -I giggle too-

—Well, I feel like I slept on a cloud, your arms are the comfiest place on earth, I mean it -she looks at me smiling, I smile back. Still afraid of the other part of the explanation- but bad because I have this massive headache -I let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding-

—The aftermath of the alcohol

—I haven't been that drunk in a while. You bathed me, right? -a expression of confusion is shown on her face-

—Wait, you don't remember what happened last night? -my eyes open like plates, worried about her comment & the fact that she doesn't remember anything-

—Of course I remember everything -she laughs laying down between my arms- I love you

—Then why'd you ask if I bathed you? -I kiss the top of her head- and I love you more

—Because I wanted to tell you that you're an amazing boyfriend because you bathed your drunk girlfriend right after satisfying her needs -she smirks while looking up at me-

If she knew that I ended up being more needy of her touch than her for mine. I thought a little more what I was going to say, she was looking at me amusingly, then I remembered Madeleine and I had agreed to talk things to avoid confusions and fights

—Do you remember everything you said last night? Because you said something that kept me up all night, in fact, it worries me...

Madeleine's amused expression faded away from her face, now a worried expression is displayed.

—I mean, I do remember a lot of things that I said but I don't remember saying something worrying... But help me out, babe, what was it?

—Remember when I started to kiss you? -she nodded- there were moments where you pulled away to tell me you love me -she nods- one of these times, instead of telling me you loved me you said that you loved me even though nothings like it used to be -my voice cracked at the end of the sentence, I cleared my throat trying to avoid the pain in it and remain there, expectant-
