—Wake up, wake up -I was hearing Calum on the background as he moves me-

I growled at the annoyance and put a pillow on the top of my head, trying to get more sleep

—Madeleine Collins, wake up -he puts his hands on my waist moving me even more-

I sigh finally giving up

—What, Calum? -I remove the pillow off my face to find him already showered and dressed, dressed in black from head to toes-

—Let's take Wyatt to my mom's, Mali's there waiting for us

—Really? This early? -I ask still sleepy-

—You don't even know what time is it -h laughs-

—You're right -I pause- but my instincts tell me it's early -I start to stand up from the bed, finally-

—Wyatt's outside playing, we'll be waiting for you -he smiles and goes-

My boyfriend is sincerely out of his mind but in a good way. I hope into the bathroom to take a quick shower and make up a little bit

—Where's momma? -I ask in a childish tone as soon as I leave our bedroom, Wyatt gets so excited when he hears my voice, extending his little arms towards me- Ain't my baby beautiful?

—Where's momma? -I ask in a childish tone as soon as I leave our bedroom, Wyatt gets so excited when he hears my voice, extending his little arms towards me- Ain't my baby beautiful?

—Of course he is, he's my clon -Calum laughs-

—I'd say no to bother you, but yeah. -Calum winks at me- how beautiful is your daddy, Wyatt -I talk to my son, he smiles-

—And to think I'm someone else's daddy too -he teases making me blush-

—Shut up! -I say bemused, he only laughs out loud tilting his head back, his eyes were crinkling-

—Come on, come on -he laughs even more- did you grabbed Wyatt's diaper bag? -I shake my head- I'll get it, you two wait here

~

—Wyatt! There he is -Joy says filled with happiness of finally seeing his grandson again. She immediately holds him in her arms-

Wyatt scared a little bit due to the switch of arms, he was pouting a little bit almost crying, but as soon as Mali approached them and started talking to him, he calmed, making Wyatt to be smiley again. He really was a happy kid, and there was this bond between Mali and Wyatt that everyone could notice

—Come in, come in -Joy steps aside, Calum motions me to go inside by putting his hand on my lower back-

—How are you? -I hug my in-laws-

—Good, honey. What about you, how you've been? -Joy asks smiley-

—I've been good

—I'm almost jumping on a feet due to the happiness of having Wyatt for ourselves a whole day -Mali smiles showing her teeth-

—Are you two alone? -I ask-

—Yeah and I think we'll be, my dad's at work most of the day -Mali responds-

—I guess you'll practice with Wyatt until it's your turn to become a mom -I joke a little with Mali. Calum and Joy were talking on their own-

—Don't even mention that, I don't want kids yet, not even close -she says amusingly while her face is frowned, making me laugh-

—You better take good care of yourself -I laugh even more-

—Trust me, I do. Very carefully

—And thank god you didn't see me deliver your nephew because you'd be traumatized by now, I'm traumatized with the amount of pain I felt that day

—Really? I've heard before that it sucks. Haven't you two talked about having more kids?

—Why no more kids, Mad? -Calum jokes as he approaches us- how are you? -he hugs her sister-

—Yeah, I guess we'll have just one more kid but in the future -I giggle a little and Calum gasps, looking at me bemused

—Just one? Are you out of your mind? At least two more -he pouts-

—Okay, you're not the one who go through contractions and birth pain so shit your mouth, I'm the one who gets to decide how many kids I want -I joke making us all laugh-

—I understand you, dear -Joy pats my back- I've been through this conversation before

—See? Your mom gets it -I cross my arms in front of my chest and raise an eyebrow at Cal-

—However. Well, Mad and I are leaving, I'll text you when we're on our way back -he tells his mom and sister-

—We'll see in a while -I wave at them, the lean in to kiss Wyatt's cheek- behave, son

Calum and I leave, holding hands, he opens the door for me and I smile at the gesture, he waits for me to hop into the car and then closes the door for me and turns around to the drivers seat

—And now? -I ask him as he starts the engine- I was thinking we could go grocery shopping, we're running out of some things

—Nope -he turns around to see me and dedicates me a warm smile- I have plans for us -I raise my eyebrows in surprise-

—Do you?

—I do -his hand lands on my thigh and I put my hand on top of his, caressing it with my thumb-

—What are we doing?

—You'll see, but first let's go grab some food, I'm starving, aren't you? -he lightly chuckles-

—You got me

We went to the nearest iHop and ordered the same as usual, it was around 11AM when we arrived and we stayed there for a while chatting, it was a nice morning where we were reminiscing things about our past, laughing along and sharing a couple of kisses. Spending time with Calum made me remember why I fell in love with him, all of this is beyond physical attraction, I really feel like Calum and I are made for each other

—Did you realize that this is the first time we go out alone since Wyatt was born? -I ask as we're hoping into the car-

—Yeah, I know that, love

—Where are we going? -I ask again, excited-

—We'll be on a short road trip but it's worth it, you'll see... Well, I hope you like it -he giggles nervously-

—Are you nervous?

—What? Me? No -he tries to brush it off-

—Yes you are, Thomas -I laugh- you look so cute when you're nervous -I confess making him roll his eyes-

I grab my phone and connect it with the car's Bluetooth to play music, the entire road trip was basically Calum and I singing along to whatever song came in, simulating we were in a concert. Between song and song, I wiped away my tears of laughter and tried to calm down so I could talk without being interrupted by my own giggles

—I missed this -I admit to my boyfriend, he turns his head to me smiling-

—Me too
