—Calum, this is way too beautiful -Madeleine sobs trying to contain the tears so she wouldn't ruin her makeup-

—Do you need another tissue? -Calum laughs, receiving a little punch on the arm from his fiancée-

—Idiot. Really, look how happy Crystal and Michael look -she whispered as they took their first photos as husband & wife-

—Mom, silence, you don't let me focus -Wyatt says without taking his eyes off his favourite uncle and aunt-

—Focus? Focus on what?

—On looking at my aunt Crys and uncle Mike -he answers rolling his eyes as if it's the most obvious thing ever-

Calum tried to hold in a laugh, because this definitely wasn't the place to burst out laughing. Madeleine gasps at her son's character, then looks at Calum who had an amused expression on his face.

—Don't look at me like that. Do you remember those moments when you used to tell me that you didn't see any resemblance between you two? Well, there it is, he inherited your character -Calum teases and Mad rolls her eyes, she knew he was right, her son and her shared the same character-

—This kid is too little to have that... Personality -she whispers to his fiancée, but it was loud enough for the little one to hear-

—Little? I'm 4, mum. I'm a big kid! -Wyatt protests low enough for not getting anyone's attention-

—Wyatt Thomas Hood, an advice from father to son, if you want to define yourself as big... The least you can do is not using the term kid when you do it, don't you think? -Calum shakes his head laughing as his kid processes what his father just said, realising it made sense-

—Aren't they beautiful? -a teary Sierra throws herself to Madeleine's arms-

—They're the most beautiful! -Calum's fiancée answers, tearing up as well- Crystal looks gorgeous and radiant... Look how happy she looks!

—And to think that you're next -Sierra reminds her about her wedding, due to three months later- in less than three months I'm going to be crying again because both of my best friend are married

—Why do women cry so much at weddings? -Wyatt suddenly asks, making them laugh-

—Well, because it is something... Cute. It's touching -Sierra explains to the curious boy- and do you know what's the best thing of weddings? -he shakes his head- that you can eat sweets all night! Come with me -she holds his hand, guiding him to a food table, not before winking at Wyatt's parents-

Madeleine's eyes land on her now married friends and a couple of tears left her eyes, causing Calum to chuckle

—Don't laugh!

—Why are you so sentimental, babe? If this is how you're at Michael and Crystal's wedding, I don't want to imagine how will it be the day we marry

—Well, it's your fault I'm this sentimental -Madeleine spits out feeling her blood boil, then, she realised she said something she shouldn't-

—My fault?

—Is there anything that I can do right now that will make you forget what I just said?

—Madeleine...

After a long, dramatic sigh, Madeleine composers herself and holds her fiancé's hand, guiding him away from the venue, not before looking at his son again, who's taking photos with Luke and Sierra
