Maybe Someday

The Lotus

I feel so stuck
like I'm in the mud

I can't move
barely breathing

but

I hear that a lotus
grows in the mud
where most things can't

just because I'm stained
and at a standstill

doesn't mean that I can't turn
into something beautiful
