Selfish Love

No good comes out of
loving someone who's selfish

I think that's what keeps us
we see that little glimpse of good

seeing how big their heart can be

wishing that side
would come out more

leaving us to hold onto it

but there comes a point
where you can't spend your whole life

waiting for more good moments
than bad ones
