JISOO's POV

The next morning, I woke up feeling a little giddy. After the bond I had with Jin and the Grand Queen yesterday, something has changed in me. Since my stay here at the palace, that was the very first time I really enjoyed a royal activity (but I could tell that wasn't an activity but more of a normal but pretty fun conversation).

Grandma and I just made fun of Jin the whole time. He didn't try to fight back against me because the Grand Queen was always on my side and supported all the things I had to say about him. That was fun, really fun and I just wished we'd had more time to talk like that.

After my lesson about literature with Ms. Dara today, I could finally have my leisure time. So many things I could do here inside the palace but I couldn't think of what I really wanted to do as of this moment. Then, a bulb lit up when I saw my rash guard hanging on my walk-in closet.

"Of course, swimming" I muttered before I changed my clothes with that hanging piece.

And before I knew it, I was already at the palace's indoor swimming pool, trying to do what Ms. Dara taught me last time. But having no beginner's luck, I still couldn't master it. I really find swimming very freaking difficult. Every attempt I did, I just swallowed the pool water and it made me feel even worse.

"If only we had a pool in our house, maybe, just maybe I could do a simple stunt right now" I said as my voice echoed the entire area.

Just then, someone opened the two-doors as I heard it clicked. Shifting my gaze to the doors, I saw Jin walking inside with a towel and goggles on his hands. He was wearing a white shirt and a black tight trunk. I felt that my blood went up to my face as I saw a new view of him.

He didn't see me at first and when he did, he just rolled his eyes at me. He hung his goggles over his neck and started to do a little bit of stretching. I pulled my body out of the pool and just took a seat on the edge of this large water tank. I didn't want him to see me swimming like a frog.

When he felt he had done enough for his body warm up, I noticed that he was about to take off his shirt and that action of him made me flicker.

"What are you doing?" I instantly reacted as I tried to calm myself.

"What? This 'jerk' will go into swimming" he really imposed the j-word as he continued to pull out his shirt.

My grip on the pool beams tightened, and I swallowed, my eyes dropping at his bare masculine chest. His broad shoulders were absolutely a sight. His abdominal area was fit like he was just giving it a workout everyday. He was so damn attractive. I got lost by his body features and I didn't even notice that he dived already at the pool. The splashing water and sounds pulled me back into my senses.

Gosh. That was embarrassing. Composing myself back again, I shrugged it off and acted like it never happened.

"You really don't know the word 'joke' right?" I fired back, trying to clear myself to him.

"Really? Tell me about that." he said just before he did his one back to back lap swim. I watched him satisfyingly while he was busy propelling himself in the water.

If he just lessen his cocky attitude, maybe he could be a candidate for the word perfection. When he finished his lap that was when I answered him.

"You know what, the more you act like that, the more I will call you that." I laughed, making the atmosphere here at ease.

I couldn't help it but to laugh at his actions. He was like a little boy who was just being bullied by his elder sister or brother. I find it comical so I had to chuckle it out from my system. Just then, the room was filled only with my laughter. When I looked at him, he wasn't laughing nor smiling he was just staring at me I couldn't read his expression.
