A/N: Hey readers. I know its been a long time since I have uploaded but I have been busy and not in the mood to write hence it took me a long time. I wrote this chapter a week ago but it just wasn't it so I rewrote it again. I hope you will love this chapter as well.

Previously on Luna:

"Do you know what his motive was?"

I looked her straight in the eye "Yes....He found out the papers.... Leanna was an idiot to leave them out in the open for anybody to read"

"What papers?" I could sense curiosity from her tone.

"I only found out about it that day. Leanna was the one who showed it to me. I was at the office before he came in..... She told me she found it out a few days ago too"

I looked at her straight in the eyes, "The papers hold the biggest and the best-kept secret of our family."

*************************************************************************

For a flash second she looked like her mind was blown and curiosity took the best of her. She coughed to hide her sudden display of emotions and muttered a sorry before taking a sip of water from the glass in front of her.

As I waited for her to regain back to her old self my eyes wandered around the room. Dr. Forbes is different from the therapists you see in movies. The room we are in is minimalist and she doesn't have her certificates all displayed out for everyone to bask in. She told me why she did not like it the first day we met. When she told me her credentials my mouth took over and asked her why she did not proudly display them. She told me she did not want her clients to be constantly reminded of it and feel overwhelmed or be in despair thinking that she is superior to them or than she is inferior. She wanted them to feel comfortable rather than squirming in their seats. I have never been more thankful for her thoughtfulness.

She cleared her throat, bringing me back to reality.

"I am sorry"

"Don't worry. It happens to the best of us..... besides it was a terrifying truth" I gave her a smile that did not reach my eyes.

"You can elaborate on it whenever you feel like it. Once again I would like to remind you that whatever is being spoken in this room will remain in this room" she nudged me mentally.

"Well as I said, that was the biggest secret. The woman that I currently call mother is not my mother ..... she is my mother's twin sister" I gave out a chuckle thinking how messed up this was and how much I trust the woman in front of me not to speak of this ever.

"You know how rare twins are and how they are treated once people find out*. It is like a taboo" Dr. Forbes gave a nod, encouraging me to continue.

"When my mother and her sister was born, my grandmother made the bold decision of hiding the younger one. She did not want her children to have the same fate as the others. I did some research and turns out they were the second pair of twins born in this region...... within the last decade..... "

"Everyone wants to get their hands on these miracle children. Scientists experiment on them like they are puppets who will dance to their every tune. Needles poke them twice every day, drawing blood, testing them to find a cure for every disease to exist out there, as if they would be immune." I scoffed at human stupidity and cruelty.

"So even though my aunt got all the love she deserved, she was denied of affection...... to the whole world she doesn't exist. She was stripped of an identity. Can you imagine what it could do to a child? As a teen?" I gave her a glance before continuing, "things got worse for her when she got a child out of wedlock- that is Leanna. She was not allowed to out of her room at all. She would have been miserable" my mind wandered to how lonely I and depressed I felt when I realized my family didn't care about me.

"My mother died 15 years ago in a car accident. Everyone was heartbroken especially my grandmother. Her mental state was not well...... When she saw my aunt, she called out to her by my mother's name. Of course she was a carbon copy of my mother. During this time....to grandmother, she had only one daughter. There was never another one. Everyone else decided to play along for grandmother's sake..... and eventually along the way, my father married her. It was probably at first for the public image as my mother's death was never known to the media but now he has become a pawn in my aunt's games." I gave her a weak smile.

Dr. Forbes looked at her notes for a couple of second before looking up, "That is a lot of history right there. The rarity of twins and their fate is a serious topic of course.. like you said, for us it is hard to imagine what such a child will go through....... But how is he relating to all of this?"

"Ah yes.... The papers he saw.... It was my mom and aunt's confidential birth records along with great grandfather's will... yeah" I said bobbing my head back and forth, trying to ignore the throbbing pain building up in my head.

"His will said that all his business will be owned and passed on to the first child of every generation and that they will get 70% of everything. My mother was the first born. But when it came to the next generation, my aunt raised the issue of Leanna being born first....... See the thing is the will would not apply to an illegitimate child so it made me the first born."

"To say that my aunt was mad would be an understatement. She was beyond furious and when my mother passed away she got the perfect opportunity to take it away from me. She drew up papers for me to hand it all over for her but I never signed them."

"So these are the papers he saw?" asked Dr. Forbes, curiosity blinking in her eyes.

"Correct....... He wanted me to get married to him so that he could try to get half of it. Leanna loved her like a lovesick puppy but he was a greedy bastard always going after money and not afraid to do what he needs to do to get it.... When I did not agree he kidnapped me to force me to either get married or hand things over"

"To my knowledge, your father and aunt handles the business now, correct?"

"Yes they run the legal firm but it is not the only family business. We have multiple establishments that are now being handled by my grandfather's brother and his children along with their own assets as well..... We have all this money but I do not think I deserve any considering I am doing nothing so I decided to divert all the money to a foundation under my surname since I cannot use my mother's full name" I lowered my gaze, fiddling with my hands.

Dr. Forbes voice broke the silence that was settling in the room. "You have told me the whole story.... Now what is your impression on all of this? How do you feel towards your family?"

I raised my head and looked at her knowing that I need to pour all of my feelings out for my sanity. However, before I could say anything, I felt a blinding darkness engulf me. Dr. Forbes's face becoming blurrier by the second. My hands immediately went to my forehead, massaging to ease the pain.

"Are you feeling overwhelmed Luna? If so we can take a short break" Her voice sounded loud to my ears.

"umm I just need to lie down," I remember moving to lie down on the couch but before my head touched the soft cushion, I was plunged into darkness.
