Ch.6

*5 months later*

Kodi's P.o.V

I'm at nine months and Brody could come at anytime. Luke is being very protective of what I do. One reason he's protective is because I'm over a week. Yay! Note my sarcasm. I don't like it.

We are all currently at the studio. Harry decided to tag along because he had nothing better to. They are recording a song they've been working on. Wherever You Are. I personally love this song.

Luke,

"For awhile we pretended that we never had to end it but we knew we had to say good bye. You were crying at the airport when they finally closed the plane door I could barely hold it all inside."

Luke and Michael,

"Torn in two and I know I shouldn't tell you but I just can't stop thinking of."

All,

"You. Wherever you are, you Wherever you are every night I almost call you just to say it'll always be you. Wherever you are."

I was swaying from side to side when I suddenly got uncomfortable. I changed my sitting position in the chair. I changed my position again and still felt uncomfortable. I just sat normally. I felt a pain in my lower stomach and rubbed it. I felt it again and took in a sharp breath.

"Kodi are you ok?" Harry sat up.

I nodded, "Y-yeah."

I felt it again and rubbed my tummy.

"Kodi I think you're having contractions." Harry said.

I shook my head not wanting to believe it. Not now not while they're recording. Of course I want him to come just not when his daddy is busy.

Luke,

"You can say we'll be together some day but nothing lasts forever nothing stays the same so why can't I stop feeling this way?"

I looked up and I could feel my eyes watered up. Honestly I was in pain and I wasn't admitting it.

"Kodi just take deep breaths. In and out." Harry tried comforting.

I took deep breaths in and out in and out. Luke stopped singing and playing having a face. A face I didn't know.

"Man Luke." Ashton groaned.

"C'mon man this coulda been the one we publish." Calum said.

Luke shook his head getting out of his thoughts, I'm assuming thoughts. He swung his guitar off and ran out of the booth. He ran up to me sliding down between my legs.

"Kodi I remember. I remember everything. From when I met you to asking you out to forming this ridiculous band to our first gig. To finding out we were gonna have Brody." He said with watery eyes.

I giggled cupping his face with my hands.

"Luke I'm so glad you remember but I think we are actually gonna have Brody." I said feeling another swing of pain and rubbing the bottom of my tummy.

"Right." He shot up.

Harry got up motioning for the boys to c'mon. They all ran out while Luke picked me up bridal style. How? Me not know. We went outside and he got in the back while I'm on his lap. Michael got in the drivers seat everyone else just hopping in.

"Just squeeze my hand as much as you need to." He whispered in my ear kissing the crook of my neck.

I just nodded trying to ignore the contraction wrapping around my body. I grabbed Luke's hand squeezing trying not to scream. Biting my lip helps me not to do that. Luke rubbed circles into my back.
