A couple of weeks after your argument with Jaehyun, you were hanging out with Mark at home, when the doorbell rang. You stood up and saw Johnny on the other side of the door, a bouquet of flowers on his hand. He lowered his head to kiss you, it was more like a soft peck. He straightened, and his eyes filled with panic when he saw the person sitting on the couch.
"I-" Johnny stuttered. "I didn't know you had company." He said, avoiding eye contact with your new friend.
Mark stood up and walked towards you.
"I was just leaving." He said and stared at Johnny, shaking his head. Johnny now visibly relaxed. "Bye, y/n. see you tomorrow." He said and left you alone with Johnny.
Johnny cupped your face and clashed your lips together, holding you close with his other arm. He was kissing you as if it was the last time, he was going to see you. You felt something wet your cheek, that's when you realized your boyfriend was crying.
"I am so sorry." He whispered like a mantra, "I love you, please believe me."
"Johnny, what's wrong?" you asked, your heart dropping, was he really cheating on you?
"I am sorry, I fucked everything up." He cried and held you close to his chest. He did.
"So, it is true?" you asked. "You've been cheating?"
"Who told you that?" he asked.
"You just did, get off me, Johnny." You said, pushing him away from you.
"Please, y/n, don't do this. I swear I will stop!" he pleaded, tears streaming down his face. "I promise, but please don't leave me."
"Johnny, don't do this to me." You said when he reached to you once more. "Please don't."
"I am sorry." He whispered.
"Who was it? Or were too many to remember?"
"Please, don't hate her. She didn't know I was dating you." He said. So, Rose's Johnny and yours were the same. You couldn't he but feel pathetic.
"You were fucking my best friend..." you swallowed hard, tears threatening to fall, but you not going to cry for someone like him. "Get the fuck out of my house."
"Y/n, please give me another chance!" he begged.
"I can't. Just leave and pretend this," you pointed to you and him. "never happened. We never met, I never fell for you sweet guy façade, and don't tell Jaehyun about this." You opened the door and looked at your feet.
"I'm sorry." He whispered and left.
Once you closed the door you fell to the ground, crying your feelings out. Jaehyun warned you and you didn't listen, if he knew about this, he would enjoy every single second of your heartbreak. You thought Johnny was giving you what you wanted, what you needed—love. But all he did was use you for his own pleasure, this past two months he was just using you while messing around with your friend and God knows how many other women.
You walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of wine, opening it and drowning on the liquid. One bottle became two, by the half of the second bottle you started crying once more, this time louder, cursing at yourself for being so naïve and stupid. You were so self-centered that you thought Jaehyun was wrong. You insisted on being right about Johnny, but part of you just wanted to believe he was loyal cause you didn't want to get hurt. You didn't even notice the door open again, the person who entered quickly embracing you.
"Hey, it's okay." He said and stroked your hair gently. "Don't cry for him, it's not worth it."
"I am so stupid, Jaehyun told me to stay away and I didn't listen." You sobbed as you held tightly to his arms, dampening his shirt with your tears. "he must be happy right now."
"Hey, you're not stupid, and I doubt Jaehyun would be happy to see you like this." He held you close as you cried, shushing you softly, trying to calm you down.
"Everyone leaves all the time, and I always end up in the same place." You said. "I always give my all too soon, I deserve this."
"You don't deserve to be miserable, y/n," he whispered.
"Yes, I do, I make myself miserable." You sobbed. "Jaehyun was right, I deserve all of this, no wonder why he hates me."
"Don't say that," he said softly. "Look at me." You had been so consumed in crying that you didn't even notice who was holding you, you just assumed Mark had come back. You wiped your tears and looked up. The person who was holding you smiled sadly and leaned in. He kissed your forehead.
"Do I look happy to see you like this?" it was not Mark. It was him.
