"So, what are your plans for tomorrow?" Mark asked.
"Well... nothing." You chuckled. "I am no longer seeing Doyoung, so I have nothing to do!"
"You broke up with him?" your friend questioned.
"Yeah, I can't be with someone I don't love. I mean, I tried to." You said. "We went out for almost a whole year and I still didn't feel anything when I kissed him for the first time."
"So, you were serious? You still love Jaehyun?" Maria asked.
"More than I have ever loved anyone." You admitted, a small frown forming on your lips.
"I'm sorry things didn't work out." Your sister said.
"It's okay, I will get over it. I hope."
"Okay, less sadness and more happiness then!" your sister said. "Tomorrow is your birthday and you should be happy!" she hugged you.
"Fine, but don't do anything big!" you said. "No surprise party, just tell me you will have a party and let's get it over with." You chuckled, and they followed.
You entered the saloon; the lights were off, but you could see the candles on the cake displaying a '26'. 'damn, I'm old...'. Everyone jumped out and said happy birthday, making you smile. You heard someone singing happy birthday, she came from the side. You knew that voice, you hadn't heard that song in so long. Rose. She walked over to you, still singing, and hugged you.
"I am so sorry, y/n," she whispered.
"Don't. I've missed you so much." You said, fighting the tears that threatened to fall.
"He's here, he wanted to apologize to you." She said. "You don't have to talk to him if you don't want to."
"It's okay, I forgave him already anyway." You gave her a reassuring smile and looked behind her. "Hi."
"Hey, y/n, I just wanted to say I am so sorry for cheating and lying to you," Johnny said. "I am really sorry, and I totally understand if you can't forgive me, but I've changed, and I needed to tell you this."
You smiled and leaned in to hug him.
"It's okay, I forgave you a long time ago." You smiled.
"I also wanted to have your blessing to date Rose." He said shyly.
"Of course, don't hurt her or I will beat your ass." He laughed. "I'm being serious." He gulped.
"I-" you laughed, and he looked at you confused.
"I'm just kidding, make her happy, okay?"
"I will." He promised. "Also, I'm sorry for beating Jaehyun up. Twice."
"I'm pretty sure he's fine." You said and looked down.
"Oh, I, I'm sorry." he stuttered.
"Don't worry about it, I'll get over it." But you knew you were not going to get over it.
You felt someone tap on your shoulder and softly rub your back. You had fallen asleep on your desk, after working after hours.
"Babe, wake up," he said softly." He was crouching next to you, looking up at you with doe eyes. "why are you still here, love?" you opened your eyes slowly and yawned.
"I had work to finish." He sighed and moved you back on the chair. "Let me sleep!" you whined, and he smiled.
"Are you really gonna make me carry you?"
"Yes." You giggled and made grabby hands.
"I can't believe this..." he tried to fight a smile, but he couldn't resist. He grabbed you and carried you bride-style.
