“Okay guys; let’s go over everything I want you guys to do once you get into your session with the gammakers.  Ruby and Emerald, you will both be doing survival. Make a fire, throw something at a dummy and then heal it. Any extra time you have is up to you. Chase, I don’t really care what you do, maybe something with the mace? Something heavy though. Waterlily, I want you to use the spears for a little while and then improvise with other weapons until your time is up. River, same goes for you for you. Your goal? Get an eight or better. Anything else and you’ll be a bloodbath tribute.” We all nodded and stood to go to the waiting room.

Nerves shook my body as Ruby was taken out. I wrung my hands out before lifting my hands to my face. My pulled my hands away from myself. What would Regi think of me doing that? As Emerald left the room, the nerves started to shake me harder. I closed my eyes and leaned back in my chair. I tensed then released every muscle in my body. A hand was placed on my shoulder and I tensed. “You’re next.”  I most of looked overly worried, because he looked a little worried and surprised. “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, just a little worried I’m going to mess up.”

“Really? I didn’t think you were scared of anything!”

I laughed. “I’m just like any normal person. Everyone is scared of something. You’re scared of things aren’t you?”

He nodded, “Too many things really. Anything else you’re scared of?”

The loudspeaker crackled and my name was called. I stood up and started walking away, but before entering the training room I turned, “Bees.” Before I could continue, the doors closed behind me and I was alone.
