eight teen
eight teen people were crowded into our basement. thirteen people being musicians. four being record executives. and the last one being little old me. this was the first time i've heard the boys play live together so, to say i was excited was an understatement.
the four record executives were all sitting on the couch in the basement. panic and fob were upstairs. i sat in a corner, patiently waiting to announce each band.
"the first band you guys will see is My Chemical Romance. this band consists of Gerard as the lead singer. Frank and Ray on guitar. Mikey on bass. and Bob on the drums." i said and took a seat in the corner of the room.
the first song the boys play is "Vampires Will Never Hurt You".
bob tapped the symbols and the song started. gerard began singing the beginning elegantly.
and if they get me and the sun goes down into the ground...
gerard sung the first verse and slid into the chorus. he sung with passion til the final beat. i stood up and clapped along with the label people.
"i think we've seen enough here, fellas. you guys did amazing and definitely will be hearing from us soon." the boys cheered and walked upstairs to get...
