i opened my eyes to brightness of an unfamiliar room and arms wrapped around me. i looked to my side and saw brendon sleeping peacefully. i cuddled into him and rested there.

i laid there for awhile and thought about everything that happened in those 24 hours. long story short, that day was a shit show. i just hoped brendon and ryan would make up and get along.

"good morning, baby." brendon whispered as he stirred awake.

  "good morning, my love."

"sleep well?" he asked.

"yeah. i'm still a little drained from yesterday though. i want to go home and sleep in my own bed."

"let's head out of here and go home. sound good?"

"sounds splendid!" i replied.

he chuckled, "baby, don't ever say splendid again. you're not eighty years old."

we shared a laugh and hopped out of bed. i threw my hair up into a messy bun and put on my slides. i grabbed my bag and followed brendon downstairs.

we enter the living room and saw pete and patrick talking.

"good morning, guys." i happily said.

"morning, hun. sleep well?" pete asked.

"yep." i paused, "thank you for letting us crash here by the way. i really appreciate it." i hugged him.

"no problem, doll. you know you're welcome here anytime."

i changed the subject, "brendon and i are okay now. we talked last night and made up."

"good! i'm glad you're not upset anymore. i hate seeing you sad." he patted my shoulder and brendon walked over.

"you ready to go, baby?" he asked.

"yep! let me just say goodbye to patrick." i walked over to patrick and noticed the frown on his face.

"what's wrong, pattycakes?"

"nothing." he paused, "just be careful, okay? don't let brendon hurt you again and if you ever need anything, you know pete and i are only a call away."

i pulled him into a tight hug, "i know, trick. thank you. i'll see you soon."

brendon and pete were whispering to each other but their hushed talking came to a halt when i walked over. i said goodbye to pete and hugged him on the way out the door.

  finally, we could go home.

meanwhile...

y/n left and walked over to patrick as pete glared at brendon.

"don't fuck her heart up, brendon." pete scolded.

  "why would i do that?"

"you broke her heart twice! don't fuck up what you two have. i don't want to see y/n crying on my doorstep ever again."
