"hey, uh, before you guys go, do you have any time for me to audition?" i asked politely as possible.

they laughed and shook their heads, "good one, kid."

"i'm serious! i can sing for you guys. just let me play one of my own songs please. i'll even do it acappella." the record execs look at each other and shrug.

"five minutes. go!"

i grabbed my acoustic and a stool. i sat in front of the mic brendon just used and started to sing my song "Summertime Sadness".

i got my red dress on tonight
dancin' in the dark in the pale moonlight

i began to sing the first verse of my song and the record execs leaned forward. i knew i got them where i want them.

i showed off my singing skills with runs and vibrato. i was so into the song that i didn't notice the boys filing down the stairs.

when my song ends everyone cheered and clapped. my face went red and i did a little curtesy.

the record executives talk for a few moments and turn back to me.

"kid, you've got talent. we have just enough room to sign all three bands and you." i turned to the boys and flip out. i hooted and hollered as i jumped into ryan's arms.

the record label had us sign some papers and said that they will call each of the lead singers to schedule recording times.

this is all so surreal.

they boys and i partied for a little bit and eventually everyone left. our mom came home and we told her the good news. she was so happy that she cried. i gave her a kiss on the temple and went to my room. i cannot wait for what the future holds.
