{first day}

  *beep beep beep*

  y/n's alarm blared and startled her awake. she slammed a hand down on the alarm clock and rolled over to try and get a few extra minutes of shut eye. not even five minutes later, her alarm went off again and she shut it off once more.

  right as she was about to turn over, her step dad burst through the door and started yelling, "get your lazy ass out of bed! i don't want another school on my ass about you not showing up!" he yelled and slammed the door shut. she would never understand why he cared about minuscule things and showed her no sympathy.

  she groaned as she got out of bed and trudged to her bathroom. she took a quick shower and started getting ready for her first day of school.

  ryan interrupted her routine by bursting through her door with a giddy look on his face, "you ready, kiddo?"

  "don't call me kiddo, and yes i'm ready."

  they grabbed energy bars and two monsters and headed out the door. they hopped into ryan's convertible since y/n's mode of transportation was a motorcycle and it scared ryan.

  the siblings and y/n took notice of the stares she received from being the new kid.

  "why are they looking at us, ry? did you do something?"

  "no. they're all staring at you, idiot. now c'mon i gotta show you your locker and shit." ryan sighed and lead his sister to her locker which sat right next to his.

  "well, well, well. what do we have here. does ry-ry have a girlfriend?" nearly gagging at the remark, y/n whipped around and saw a boy with black hair walking up to her and ryan.

  "no, pete. this is my sister." ryan remarked.

  "well lovely to meet you," he started while taking y/n's hand, "i'm pete and these are my friends patrick, andy, and joe."

  "great. well i gotta get to class so i'll see you in a bit, ry." she said and strutted off.

  y/n had trouble navigating her class in such a large school. she eventually found it and sauntered in to see kids sitting on desks, talking amongst themselves. after accidentally banging the door closed, everyone's eyes landed on y/n. she brushed off their stares and walked up to the teacher's desk.

  "uh hi. i'm y/n ross and i'm new to your class."

  the teacher turned towards the girl and her eyes went wide. "uh, yeah, of course. you can have a seat next to the way brothers and mr. iero."

  y/n nodded and found the boys the teacher was talking about. she plopped down in the seat next to the three of them as they gave her weird looks. "is there something on my face or are you three just afraid to say something to me?"

  "no uh, i'm gerard and this is my brother mikey and that's my best friend frank." gerard said as y/n shook his hand.

  "gerard? what kinda name is that?"

  gerard shrugged, "i dunno, man. my parents are weird."

  "well i'm gonna call you gee. i like to keep things simple."

  "so you're THE y/n ross. what's that like." frank asked.

  "it's nothing special. ryan doesn't handle the attention well but i don't give a fuck." the boys shot each other glances at the mention of ryan.

  "wait...your brother, is ryan? like ryan edwards?" mikey asked intriguingly.

  "my brother is ryan ross. not some rando named ryan edwards."

  "does your brother have wild brown hair and he looks like a lost puppy?" gee asked.

  "yup!"

  the boys laugh, "sweetheart, we're homies with ryan. our band, his band, and one other band are all really good friends. ryan always talks about a sister but never gave us a name. shit, i didn't even know ryan and you were related til now." gee said.

  "our last name carries a lot of baggage so it get it."

  gee shrugged, "now that i think about it, ryan did say that his sister was a trouble maker."

  y/n continued talking with the boys about music and who's in each band. gee's band consisted of gerard, mikey, ray, frank, and bob and their band is my chemical romance. pete's band is fall out boy which consists of pete, andy, patrick, and joe. and last but not least, ryan's band that had no name, consisted of himself, jon, spencer, and brendon. y/n, of course, was dying to meet everyone.

  class ended and y/n rushed out to her next class. 'this is gonna be a long day.'
