They Adopted Me

Travis

... She wanted to panic, she knew she was going to have a anxiety attack. She tensed up, she knew something bad was going to happen. "Been a while, Shorty," said a voice. Everything changed. She loosened up. Her anxiety  replaced with relief. Panic  replaced with happiness. She knew that voice all to well.

She turned around quickly and wrapped her arms around his torso. She missed him so much, she was glad to hear his voice. She buried her face in his sweater."I've missed you so much," she said, coming out in muffles. She looked up to see his brown eyes."Me too," he said.

The space between them closed and she felt his lips on hers. He then lifted her in the air."Travis!!!" she exclaimed. Laughs escaped her throat, she was happy to see him again. He set her down, hands on her hips.

"How did you get here?" she asked

"You know, first day of middle school," he nonchalantly said.

She squealed and through herself on him. They almost fell, almost. "Travis, I've missed you so, so much," she exclaimed. She could hear him chuckle."I've missed you and the girls," he made the 'and' a bit longer. She rested her chin on his chest and made a 'mhm' sound.

"It's true, I miss Penny's cookies. Has she made any yet, I found out you guys got adopted. Thats amazing," he said

"That is amazing and no on the cookies. But we are planning on making them though," she told.

"And is Laila helping you with math. I don't want to see you stressed about that," he asked

"Yup, and she ain't going nowhere any time soon," she joked.

"And is Vera keeping you away from strangers. I don't want you gone anytime soon," he stated.

"Yup, I still don't trust the old man next to us," she said

"And is Riley helping you keep that spark  in you," he said while tapping her forehead

She giggled, them said "That spark will always be there." She grabbed his hand and pulled him to the school. They had almost every class together, except wood work. It is a good thing, he would  probably distract her and she end up cutting a finger off.

~End of the day~

She kissed his cheek and left to Thomas's car. She made sure to not to be seen by Thomas. She wasn't ready to tell him she had a boyfriend.

She opened the car door and got in."How was your day?" asked Thomas."It was good," was all she said. Good? It was great, it was amazing. It was fantastic, she thought."Anything happen today?" he asked.

And that's how it went the whole car ride. Talking about their day. She just left out the small detail that she saw her boyfriend she hasn't seen in three months. She also left out the details she knew him for two years and has dated him for a year.

They soon got home and went to go finish her home work. She ran upstairs and through her backpack on her bed. She changed to an oversized hoodie, shorts and sandals. She then leaned against her door and slide down, in a sitting position. Her phone buzzed and she saw he had texted her. I miss you♡  it said. She smiled and bit her bottom lip. She ended up texting for the next hour.

A/N:  So another chapter, and yes Travis will be very important to the story OK. Bye hunnies
