Alex said goodbye to Travis. She had to finish homework and eat. He said goodbye and she turned off her phone. She quickly did her homework, mostly at the fact because she was really hungry and Patton was cooking. Everyone knows Roman would make this giant feast, which would take him two hours to make. By then they would be so hungry they would order take out. Virgil is just really bad at cooking and Thomas as well. Logan no one really trust him with the cooking. He probably does some weird shit to it. The last time they ate Logan's cooking they all had to use the bathroom for an hour, even Logan. Patton , is like, the only one who could cook a decent meal.

While she was putting her homework in her backpack there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" she shouted from her desk. She turned around and Roman came in."Princess, dinner is almost ready. Would you be so kind and take out the trash," he declared. She giggled at the nickname Roman gave her a while back and for the fact that he made everything so dramatic. She nodded and Roman left her room. She finished packing away her stuff and left her room.

Once down the stairs she saw Virgil on his phone, Roman watching Mulan, Logan reading what seemed to be an encyclopedia. Patton and Thomas were in the kitchen, Thomas washing the dishes and Patton turning on the stove. "Shorty, the trash is already outside, you just need to throw it," said Thomas. She nodded, it didn't bother her he called her shorty, she was short. Besides she like that nickname.

She opened the door and the evening breeze hit her bare arms, it was a bad idea to wear a tank top, she thought. She found trash bag resting on the side of the wall. she grabbed it and made her way trashcan. As she closed the lid of the trash can she heard a voice. "Hey, Shorty," a voice said. She thought it was Thomas, because it sounded like him. "Hey, Thom-," she said while turning around, but she cut herself off when she saw who it was. It was Travis. "Travis!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing here?" she asked as she made her way to the fence where he was resting his arms and face.

"You know the usual. Living here," he joked, giving her a small smile. Alex just gapped a him. "What?!?! You live here," she screamed. Travis just laughed. "Yeah, we moved here last week," he said, while rubbing the back of his neck. They talked for what seemed like hours, but only a minute. She kissed his cheek. "Okay, bye. I have to go eat," she said, then ran off, but before she closed the door she waved at him. He waved back and touched his cheek.

When she sat back down to eat she was a blushing mess. She didn't talk the whole entire time, but no one notice. Except Roman. He knew the look of love to well. But he didn't say anything yet. After dinner, Alex ran to her room. When Roman passed Alex's room, he stopped in his tracks. "I love you, too," she said. He opened her door slightly, and he saw her curled in a ball on her bed, not facing him. Yup, it was confirmed, Alex had a boyfriend and she was in love
