Y/n's P.O.V.
We spent the whole evening working on his stutter. We sat on his bed and practiced repeating sentences and tongue-twisters. Personally I didn't mind his stutter, it was kind of cute. But it made him so insecure and nervous. I just had to help him.
Y/n: Come on. You're almost there!
Bill: Sh-She sells sea shells on the seashore
I jumped up in joy.
Y/n: You did it, Bill! You did it!
The widest grin appeared on his face and he jumped up too.
Bill: I-I did!
I cupped his face in my hands and kissed him hastily. I pulled away about three seconds later.
At first, he looked shocked but after a few seconds he smiled cheerfully.
I checked my watch. 10:38.
Y/n: It's getting late. We should go to sleep.
He nodded.
Bill: You c-can have the bed
Y/n: Mmhh. Oh, no. It's your room. You have the bed. I can take the sleeping bag.
Bill: No, I i-insist. Really
Y/n: Okay.. How about we both sleep on the floor?
Bill: Sounds fair...
We set up two sleeping bags next to each other and he switched off the lights.
I was drifting off to sleep when I heard his voice.
Bill: Y/n?
Y/n: Yeah
Bill: Thank you s-so much
Y/n: I'm honestly so proud of you.
Bill: You just make my life better. I-I don't know how t-to explain it.
Y/n: I feel the same way, Bill. You're one of the only people I can be myself with.
Bill: Good night
Y/n: Good night
