Bill's P.O.V.

The sound of footsteps caused me to open my eyes. I scanned the room, looking for what had caused the sound. Suddenly felt something warm on my chest. I looked down and saw Y/n.

She was resting her head on my chest, snuggled up beside me. Her gentle hand was on my stomach. I looked down at her, lovingly. I felt her breaths on my shirt.

Suddenly that door burst open.

Mom: Rise and shi-

Mom looked at us, clearly uncomfortable. Y/n fluttered her eyes open and slowly sat up. She saw my mom and froze.

I mean, we weren't doing anything wrong. The both of us were fully dressed and were barely touching. Nonetheless, we blushed a deep shade of crimson.

Mom: Oh, I'm sorry. I-I didnt know you were here, Y/n. Good morning.

My love rubbed her and yawned.

Y/n: Good morning, Mrs Denbrough

Mom: Please, love, call me Sharon. Breakfast will be ready soon.

Without another word, my mother left the room.

Y/n: I'm sorry. I must've not realis-

Bill: Don't a-apologise. It was nice.

Y/n: Your stutter is getting better.

I hadn't even noticed. But it was true, I had been stuttering less.

Y/n: Let's go get breakfast.

I lent her one of my t-shirts and a pair of jeans. She went to change in the bathroom while I changed in my room.

After a few minutes, she opened the door and got out. All of a sudden, a swarm of butterflies crowded my stomach. She had tucked my white shirt in denim jeans that had been rolled up to her ankles.

I mean, Jesus Christ. How can she look stunning in anything? Before I could compliment her, she took my hand and dragged me downstairs. I followed her to the dining room where sat my parents. My dad looked at us before returning to his news paper. We sat down and mom gave us bacon and eggs.

Mom: So, Y/n, will you be sleeping over tonight?

Y/n: Oh, no,no. I'll be going home soon.

Mom: Ok, and sorry about this morning. Bill hadn't mention he was having you over.

Bill: Yeah, sorry mom. It was a last minute thing.

Mom: No problem, just let us know next time. Ok? It's always a pleasure having you with us.

I nodded and dug into my breakfast.
