Bill's P.O.V.
She trusted and followed me. Some weight inside of me lifted. I led her into the forbidden part of the park. Beyond the gate was a small yet beautiful lawn. Wild flowers spread over the grass. They were mainly daisies and dandelions. I closed the gate behind us.
We sat in the middle of the private lark and laid down next to each other. We silently stared at the sunset. Streaks of pink, purple and orange painted the sky. We didn't say a word to each other as we admired the mesmerizing sky. I occasionally glanced at Y/n. Her h/c hair glistened and her eyes sparkled. After 10 minutes, she spoke up.
Y/n: This is beautiful! How do you even know this place?
Bill: G-Georgie and I u-used to play here w-when we were young.
Y/n: Do you take all your girls here?
She chuckled playfully still staring at the sky. I moved my head, cheek against the grass, to look at her.
Bill: W-wouldn't you like to kn-know?
She shoved me playfully. She stared back at the sunset.
Slowly, her smile faded away and was replaced by a sorrowful frown. She shifted her head to look at me. I stared back at her, inquisitively. Why was she sad?Y/n: B-Bill, I'm so sorry
I could spot tears in her eyes.
Bill: Wh-Why?
Y/n: For pulling you into my mess
She sat up and broke down. She buried her face in her hands and cried. I sat up and cradled her.
Bill: Shh, Shh... It's o-okay.
Y/n: Why do you even hang around me. I'm a ticking time bomb. Henry cut you, beat you...he almost killed you because of m-
Bill: Y/n look at me!
I cupped her face with both my hands. She sniffed and looked up at me. I got lost into her eyes.
Bill: N-Nothing you could do could ever p-push me away
I wiped her tears with my thumb.
Y/n: Bill?
Bill: Mhhmm
Y/n: Did you write that letter?
A blush crept up my neck.
Bill: Yeah...
She leaned in and closed her eyes.
