Everything seemed to be more exciting as they hopped in Roger's van to start traveling after their three London-based shows already sold out. Now they were heading off to Glasgow, and they all were pretty excited for what was coming soon.

Freddie and Audrey almost never had their hands empty as both of them were songwriting a lot, but they felt that most of the things they were writing weren't enough. They were growing in frustration as Brian and John noticed that their moods were going down. Suddenly, they burst into good ideas, but as fast as the good ideas came, they flew by the van's window and felt even more frustrated at it.

The acoustic guitar she brought with her almost made her fingers bleed as she tried to do something productive, but nothing came into their minds.

"For fucks sake-", she mumbled while sitting properly. She felt her bum was on fire, maybe more than three hours had passed by and there were almost four hours left until they get in their destination. "Rog, dear, can we stop for a while?"

He stared at her through the rearview and saw her almost suffocating. He smiled a bit and she tried to dismiss the blush in her cheeks while looking somewhere else.

The lads were tired, and needed some food too. "Yeah, we can make a little stop and then sleep our asses off", said Freddie.

As soon as they got to a tiny restaurant in the road side, they all were stretching and Audrey made some funny noises that John knew she had to do while stretching. It was like she was letting the stress go.

"Can't believe you still do that unholy sound when you stretch...", he said teasing her, she closed her hand in a ball and gave him a punch right in the left arm. He was almost crying but at the same time laughing.

After getting food supplies and bathroom breaks, Audrey was waiting for Brian and John to come back from the last bathroom break as she was playing The Man In Me by Bob Dylan in her guitar. She was singing the last parts as Roger started to lit his second cigarette since they were waiting for the other guys, Freddie was watching her in awe, very captivated by her melodious voice that she often thought would never take her anywhere. But the thing wasn't in her voice, but in the passion she sang on. "The man in me will hide sometimes to keep from bein' seen, but that's just because he doesn't want to turn into some machine. Took a woman like you, to get through to the man in me-"

Roger was smirking through his cigarette when Freddie clapped. "Interesting repertoire", he said as she briefly smiled while playing with the guitar.

"Don't blame my music taste... it's very weird, beginning with these Queen guys I somehow like so much"

Freddie rolled his eyes as Roger made his way to seat by her side, really intrigued by her. Sometimes it seemed that she had everything in control, but it was often proved that she hides a lot of things; even from Deaky. She had many secrets, yet she could handle avoiding the topic by bringing a smile and saying something really clever to take your mind off the main problem. It was like she did something magical, putting up a show to make everyone dumb from whatever was on her mind. Like a mask, that she knew so well how to wear it without it falling.

He really doesn't know when or why did he started seeing things in her that maybe no one else did. Like if there was some sort of connection that drew him to her.

Her hair falling on one side while she was laughing at something Freddie said, before turning her head to watch him staring at her intently woke him up from his brief wide awake slumber.

"Take a picture, might save yourself from being caught", she said jokingly.

"Might do it, don't give me any ideas you won't like", he said while finishing the cigarette as she rolled her eyes. He knew she hated being photographed. "Anyways, what's with the record deal you told us about?"
