The boys couldn't believe what their eyes were watching as Audrey was going into the roadie's bus instead of theirs. Deaky intended to suppress his frown but it was inevitable as he glared at Roger, "You fucked up", he said seriously before going into their own tour bus.

After arriving to the first venue, Audrey found a picture of Roger and a girl licking his stomach. It said the date it happened behind and the name of the girl and her phone number. She was so upset that she practically ignored Roger all the way to the next town.

"Mate, we said we wouldn't talk about it!", Roger replied as he followed John into the tour bus. This one was different, it no longer had any bunks on it and even though it was nicer, it was simpler. "And anyways, you all know that nothing happened that night! It's between me and Audrey, not me, Audrey and her nosey cousin!"

Brian tried to stop the fight as he knew Roger was going to burst in anger as he always did, throwing tantrums and fits everywhere, but Freddie put a hand on his shoulder. "Let them be", he simply said, noticeably tired and sad too.

John couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You don't even know her the way I do, so if there's someone to be nosey here - it's gotta be you", he was getting angrier as Roger snorted.

"Does that matter? I've already explained it to her! I can't avoid girls giving me their numbers and wanting to have something with me! It is me that doesn't have sex with them, I only receive the shit they send me!", Roger stated as he took one of the magazines that was over one of the tables that surrounded them. "And if she's going to be immature about it, then so be it", he plopped down the chair and then angrily started to flip through the pages, pretending to read.

Brian saw in amusement as John tiredly walked until he got in front of Roger and then threw a picture at him. "I thought you cared about her, I guess I was wrong", the pain was evident in his voice. "I'll go out for a walk before we head out"

John made his way out of the tour bus as Roger's hands were shaking in anger and regret. He realised he had hurt not only his bandmate, but one of his closests friends. He knew Deaky was right, but he wanted to fight against it, because he already hated himself for most of the things he had done and the reputation he had wasn't something that he regretted, he loved being known as a sex magnet... however, his personal life was far different from what magazines paint it to be.

Roger took the picture that was on his lap and his heart broke at the sight of a picture that showed him and Audrey after one of the Mott the Hoople's concert in London, where all the touring began. They were making funny faces at the camera as they were sitting on the dressing room, eating salad that Brian brought at that time, trying to make them eat healthy. He was on his dress robes as she had his sunglasses on the top of her head.

Freddie and Brian were looking at him closely as he clenched his jaw and then stood up to store the picture on the notepad that Audrey and him were writing early. He wasn't sure how to feel after that, but he knew he owned Deaky an apologize.

At one of the roadies bus, Audrey wasn't really staying for long - she only needed the help from one of the stylists. She found out that her hair was tangled by some chewing gum and she got it worse as she tried to stick it out by herself and ended spreading it more over her long hair. She had tears on her eyes as she heard the stylist Tom say his final verdict: they had to cut her hair short to take off all the gum.

"If you came earlier, before spreading the gum all over your hair - then maybe the story would've been different", he said while taking his scissors out and she started cried desperately. She didn't wanted to cut her hair. "Don't worry, I'll do it nicely"

She closed her eyes as she didn't wanted to see her beautiful long black hair being cut short and her tears didn't stopped coming out. The sound of the scissors in action gave her nausea.

"What's going on?", she heard John's scared voice but she didn't dared to open her eyes.

"Chewing gum on her hair, it was very nasty and almost irreparable - she's lucky to have me around", Tom tried to tease but Audrey was sobbing hard. "Take it easy, love, you'll look hot"

Audrey tried to believe it as she felt Deaky's presence beside her, maybe looking at her hair being cut with awe. He was so used of seeing her with very long hair and now, it was all gone.

She screamed in a high pitched tone as she saw the pixie cut Tom made on her. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!", she squealed as she watched herself on the mirror. It looked good, but her heart didn't stopped beating hard against her chest as she felt pain over her long hair that was long gone.

Deaky was silent, while inspecting his cousin's reaction. "You look great, though"

But she couldn't stop sobbing.

Freddie was the next to burst the door open as he looked for the source of the sobbing. He recognised her screaming from the distance and now his mouth was wide open as he saw her with her new hairstyle.

"Don't look at me!", she cried as she tried to cover herself with her arms.

"Who's this hot stuff?", Freddie whistled, catching John's pleading stare quickly. He got to her and took her arms off her head. "You look amazing, darling", he said while staring at her bloodshot eyes.

"Don't lie! I look ugly", she cried and looked the other way, uncomfortable because now Brian got in and was also watching her with a very surprised expression on his face.

"Well, this is new", was all that he had to say as he smiled at her.

Audrey violently turned to face Tom. "Get me a wig, I don't care what colour—I can't go out like this", she sighed while the tears wouldn't stop coming. Tom rolled his eyes as he handed her a tissue box.

"Don't be ridiculous!", Freddie jumped. "Hot Stuff", he said while winking and making everyone laugh.

"Fuck you"

But it was indeed the other way around as she got out of the tour bus and saw that people were looking at her differently. At first, she was insecure, but as Freddie came beside her and whispered at her ear some wisdom words: "Can't you see? Look at their eyes, they're not laughing at you... they are admiring you"

She looked around and his words seemed to have changed her views as she actually saw the people's eyes in a different way.

Audrey was now walking confidently as her eyes twinkled by all the attention she had over her.

Freddie was looking proudly at her as some man whistled and winked at her direction. Brian and Deaky were shocked and not so sure if that would be positive for her. "I don't think this will end well", Brian said to Deaky as they were following the other two into the band tour bus.

"Me neither", Deaky mumbled and they weren't wrong.

Roger's reaction over her wasn't relevant as she clearly had no intention to hear his comments over her new look and focused on sitting in the end of the bus with her acoustic guitar and she started to play it. She had something in mind, but her guitar wasn't canalizing any of her ideas. She quickly got frustrated and sat down in front of the table for hours as she scribbled some lyrics that spontaneously came to her mind.

Of course she couldn't stop thinking of the blonde guy that had her heart on his hands.

But she decided to focus herself on doing her job. It would take some time for them to clear out the air.

It would be a long three month tour.
